    AD&D Cloudy Mountain (Intellivision)

    Venture (Intellivision) - anyone realize before that once you complete level 9 (full board) that you just keep repeating level 9 and your score actually starts to go down - kind of a bummer - never played the game that far before and was hoping for something more.

    Never cared for Space Hawk - seems like many agree. As far as ones mentioned that I thought were good are Horse Racing, AD&D Tarmin (one of my favorites as well), Frog Bog (lots of fun w/2 people and not a long game), and Space Battle (one of my 1st 3-games w/Soccer & Poker).

    dZ, radar screen in Space battle is important because it allows you to see how close enemy ships are to your base and how close your ships are to encountering enemy if you deployed multiple squadrons. And if your Squadron(s) have met up with enemy ships, you can switch to that space battle before your squadron is defeated without an actual Space Battle.

    Side Note: does anyone else remember the channel 11 game based exactly on Space Battle fight screen where you had to say "pix" I believe in order to fire and kill as many Space aliens within 30 seconds I believe? Anyways, I can never forget that because it was Intellivision Space Battle and they just had the cross-hair in the middle of the screen and contestants would yell pix when they wanted to fire - pretty nostalgic for me.

    Definitely Intellivision for me - it's what I got as a kid in 1980 and I also had NO problems with controllers - got used to them very quickly. And as for Stan or anyone else saying that the Inty doesn't have lots of quality games and no reason to own it - simply not true but to each his own. I got the Atari Flashback 4 which I think is cool, but many of the games, especially the sports titles are not playable. I guess it's good to have both since they both offer different games that are good. Just my $.02.

    Agree w/cmart - probably just a fluke.

     

    Off topic for cmart: wtf with Isles and Nucks at trade deadline and with yesterday's game - watching 3rd period now - have no clue how Isles scored 7 goals in 1 period - wonder if that set any records for either team? Anyways, good luck to Nucks for rest of season - will need strong finish to get in playoffs. Wonder how pissed Nucks fans are over Luongo/Schneider situation? I know most Isles fans are furious over Vanek return or lack thereof:-(

    Hi Rev & Intellfan - totally agree - would never touch something like this unless it included some rare games in which case the system will would be a complete bonus - may even request seller to keep system to lower shipping lol:-)

    You ain't kidding - that is definitely a very impressive collection - don't forget to enjoy it. Now I know where to go for advice if I ever branch out from the inty - no time soon though. Just an Atari flashback 4 and the Genesis version that I got for Xmas and a handful of NES games plus my original Xbox - nothing fancy after my inty collection.
