Therefore, since Ms. Pac-Man 320 already uses both palettes in 320B mode, I wonder if _with Kangaroo mode disabled_ it would be possible (theoretically) have the transparency and use the 320A mode for the ghosts eyes (some images below). If it would be helpful, I had prepared the title screen and some intro images for Bob's ReZolve. I have used the 160B mode, 13 colors or 25 colors with both palettes (background color included).

Just for fun, I made a Popeye mockup for 7800. It is in 320A mode with some sprites / tiles overlapped, 12 colors on screen (8 colors for scan line).
