Looks like I missed it. I hope to have a second chance.

I'm still plugging away at this. Redid the title screen again yesterday and added more building designs.
..."again" is much appreciated Kevin. Excellent work!

Wow. All I can say right now is I'm glad that they finally found the loot. Now we all can sit back, watch the drama unfold, and eat popcorn.

..the Alamogordo ET Atari dig with the Benny Hill Show Theme Tune?

Take away the wireframe except for the pieces that compose the outline of the torsal. Make the skin/flesh green (Swap shorts and skin colors in the previous mock-ups) and we have this guy fighting:
As your "hulkish" guy is knocked down his skin tone changes because he became this guy:
Your "Glass Joe" opponent:
Your "Mr. Sandman" opponent:
Finally, we have an Incredible Hulk game on an Atari system

looks nice but I'd much rather have a solid boxer as the player myself.
..but with arcade graphics, the gameplay would be compromised.

I did this makeup during a short break. Technically impossible?

Here's something I've been working on. I've still got a long way to go, but here's what's done so far:
- Updated the title screen with more vibrant colors
- Redrew the monster icons on the character selection screen
- Added detail to the buildings
- Tweaked various colors within the game
- Edited font to be more like arcade version
- Added a single frame of George by PAC-MAN-RED
To Do:
Redraw all character animations (more than I have time for, so I'll need help with this)
I want to have the characters finished before I upload the ROM.
Rampage Title Hack.png
Rampage-Char-Sel.png
Rampage-In-Game.pngWow Kevin!

And I really hope PAC-MAN-RED wants to share his awesome work:

nice!
the arcade sprites are actually very different looking compared to the NES and standard 7800 ones.

Technically possible, but in addition to designing sprites are needed code changes that are not easy.
Here are some sprites:

Regarding DKJR I had thought about another topic, I see great results there:

Collaborate on Donkey Kong XM has been a wonderful experience for me.
Perry and Robert have been fantastic and I would be really happy to go back with them to help on Donkey Kong Jr XM.Maybe after Dig Dug XM.

Very cool, thank you for sharing!

I can not try it right now but thank you Synthpopalooza!

Shellcreepers done.
Sidesteppers done.
Fighterflies done.
Slipice done.
This is just my interpretation of the arcade sprites. I'm open to using better sprites from other ppl. Marco, I like your turtle. If you make a complete set, I'll probably use it instead of mine... or I could do an alternate version if you prefer. The crabs (and any other sprites) are open for improvement. I'm just done with "my" interpretations. I haven't checked out the XE fireball yet. I haven't looked at the arcade fireball yet either.
Kevin, excellent work as usual!
Thanks for be open to evaluate other sprites, this is much appreciated.
I will try to make the complete set of turtles and some crabs.
Thank you!

I could look into putting my POKEY sound code into the game.

-
Kevin,
this is Mario Bros. Please do not rush!
P.S.
take a look at the fireballs on the Atari XE version.

Was going to state/reason that Blimp = PAL / Plane = NTSC...But...
Considering there's only one sign in the game, I'm sure the likelihood of having a blimp and plane is nil.
...but we can make 2 versions: blimp and plane.

-
Long signs (Although presumed "impossible"):
Improved turn sign (If possible):
Perhaps change blimp to plane - And tweak the sign:
And now to officially earn a "flipped bird"...
Start:
Checkpoint:
Let the obscenities commence
*goes hides*Robert,
in the code there is the graphics for only one road sign.
P.S.
The Atari arcade version has the blimp!
