  10. Bob, heartfelt thanks for giving us this pearl of programming, excellent work as always and I'm really glad to see that you continue to develop new games using 320 mode. I loved Berzerk on 2600 so I am very excited about this your new version for 7800...and then there's Frenzy!   17. Some time ago, I had almost lost the hope of seeing an _arcade_ version of Donkey Kong for 7800. Simply, too many obstacles to be overcome and none source code. In the meantime, I had seen the excellent version of Pac-Man that Perry has done for Atari 8-bit computers (I have to get this for my XEGS!) and I was really surprised by the care and attention he has devoted to this work. One day, unexpectedly, Perry has changed his avatar in a screen "How High Can You Get?" in 320 mode for 7800 and I thought: "Yes, he is the right man!". Everything that followed, update after update, has been a marvelous journey (and also a bit challenging, I think!). Now we all know about the great talent and programming skills of Perry, but even more surprising was the passion and the motivation of this guy always friendly and helpful to take another step forward. To fully appreciate Donkey Kong XM is really necessary to know in depth the arcade version of Donkey Kong and the hardware of 7800. This port, meticulously designed, is an absolute masterpiece.   20. Maybe I'm wrong but I always thought that it is a issue with Prosystem. I say this because the same phenomenon occurs in Ms. Pac-Man, is particularly evident when the ghosts rise to the top in the intro screen.

I also see other differences, mainly heredity NES: - The elbows seem too pointed and the feet are too big. - Is possible to improve the design of the fists and the abdomen, there is a bit of confusion in this area. - It would be very nice, if it is possible, adding a fourth color (the same color of the hair of Pauline). Then, when Donkey Kong shows his lateral profile, there are a handful of white pixels on the mouth and forehead. And in this sprite still differences in the proportions (rear neck / ear, wrist / knee, etc..). I worked on these two sprites, maybe it can be useful to share the result. Perry, I hope that goes a bit better with the problem in the basement.Perhaps these designs can bring to you a moment of distraction.
