  1. Hey I've got one if someone who can dissect it wants it.
  2. I loved a game called Mig Alley Ace but don't know if it worked on modem or just head to head in person
  3. I've got a physical copy of one but it's packed up i think. I'm sure it's not 100 pages though.
  4. I've posted it on eBay Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk
  5. I posted another item on ebay - some kind of wire wrap dialer - also have the grom box on ebay http://ebay.us/FUDQSz?cmpnId=5338273189
  6. I do remember talk of the Z80 chip being used or contemplated at one time when I was there - but I was in Defense group so didn't know where I heard about it. John Phillips was working on the machine software, he might have been where I heard of it but I don't see him around at this time.
  7. So this adds to my 15 minutes of fame. In case you are interested, I played bass guitar for The Nervebreakers, a Dallas "punk" group that opened for the Clash, the Ramones , the Police, the Boomtown Rats, and the Sex Pistols as well as serving as backing band for Roky Erickson of 13 Floor Elevators fame.
  8. And I'm glad it went to capable hands in the community
  9. Now I'm excited to see what you find out. I think you won't have much trouble getting it working. I remember it had a video tearing on screen and the other one , computer museum item, didn't and now of course nothing recognizable is output.
  10. Just fyi, I've been corresponding with the museum that has the better prototype at their location that I donated. They did add a credit to me for donation as I requested and I enquired if they were willing to turn it on to capture the boot screen but they said they don't do that with the artifacts as they don't want to risk them being damaged. So I hope whomever buys the one on ebay will get good information from roms at least and hopefully gets video working again.
  11. I don't think it's lost, the listing I found recently says they have the physical item. I'm asking that they add a "donated by Robert Childress " to it like it had on Boston Computer Museum page. https://www.computerhistory.org/collections/catalog/X720.86
  12. Pictured is the one I donated to the Computer Museum
  13. The other one I had is on eBay currently rchildress is username
  14. It's listed http://ebay.us/2kVjeM?cmpnId=5338273189
  15. I will be selling my Dimension 4 at the end of this month unless I sell it at DFW Retro computer gathering on jan 25 in Dallas. Power light still comes on but haven't got any video to output in recent efforts but it did output previously.
  16. 8I'm about ready to dig them out but wife is having party tomorrow so it will probably be Thursday. I donated the better Dimension 4 to the computer museum when it was in Boston, trying to win their prize but lost to an altair 8088. This one also fired up back then but had a glitchy display if I remember correctly. Prefer to sell it local to dfw area so I dont have to pack and ship. I'll work on pictures. Also unloading my upgraded atari 400, happy drive, and Atari st 3d glasses stereotek and software but that would be for another board
  17. I've got a prototype of ti 99/4 and some developer boards I want to clear out, does anyone know a good place to post them?
  18. I need to sell off my Atari systems I’ve got a 800 , upgraded 400, couple of drives, pretty sure one is happy. Just lugging then around from storage to storage for years but shipping is a pain. In DFW area if there is any local interest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
