I too saw the the Atari Flashback 7 & Sega Classic Console on an endcap display at my local STAPLES store this weekend. Each one is wrapped with one of those anti-theft devices around the box so no one walks off with it out of the store. $59 each. Yikes! I refuse to pay that much $ for it. I will patiently wait until these are on clearance.

Very cool. I was able to beat LEVEL 10. Those baddies move FAST! Have to be careful and time it right. They look more like HEADS OF LETTUCE rather than MEAN PEAS. I just thought of a enemy for a future level: BAD APPLES

What about if you change the name of the game to "13 GHOSTS" I just googled HAUNTED HOUSE and I found a scattering of a history of Haunted House films, One of them that caught my eye was a movie from 1960 called "13 GHOSTS" Here is the WIKI on it... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13_Ghosts And low and behold, the full-length movie is on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilhjcir_OUw It appears it was a 3-D type of movie... at certain times the screen would change to a blue color, which would mean to try viewing the movie through the 3-D glasses that were handed as you went into the movie theatre... Wow, now I want to see what it looks like with those glasses! Just an idea... could always change the name of the game to "12 GHOSTS" perhaps some of the gameplay could be based on the plot of this movie... -Tim

I agree with DZ-JAY re: the music in the intro. I like the original music you had better in the previous versions before you made the change. However, maybe you can utilize this variation of the intro music into another part of the game... like maybe in a different level...? or the end of the game? Man, that evil banana is difficult to avoid. I'm using mode 1 which is slower. And I am still doing lousy. Isee how he travels in a zig zag pattern, but it's all about timing to avoid him. And once I get eaten, I have to rescue the peas that I already rescued. Should it be this way? Is there a way to make it so the game remembers which peas you have rescued in the level?

I plan to. I have downloaded and installed IntyBASIC v1.2.6 on my computer. I am reading and trying to "digest" and "absorb" the MANUAL.TXT. That's my starting point.

I like the current title screen with the image of Mr. Celery and his blinking eyes. And the little intro tune that plays is catchy too. I think this should be kept as it is. Atari2600land spent a lot of his time coding this. But maybe after all game levels have been completed, this could be at the end of the game: it could be a "Celery Celebration" as carlsson calls it.. And as DZ-Jay suggested... the ending screen could say "It's a Celerybration" and the tune / music of "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang could play. ( Hopefully Kool and his gang do not visit this forum ) That would be a cool final screen. Just my 2 cents... just throwing around some ideas that came to mind.

However, I will try to get it going in MAME and I think that should be sufficient , pairing that experience along with my memories. When is your deadline?
