  4. I am happy to announce that ZOMBIE MADNESS, an all new version for 2020, is now available and for sale. We are accepting orders!

    The story:

One Halloween morning, your son crashes the lawnmower into the neighbor’s shed.
Strangely, the neighbor doesn’t seem mad, but he gives your son a juju.
This results in your house being invaded by zombies!
One at a time, you must carry your family members downstairs to the exits of the house.
If a zombie touches you, you’ll have to eat some human flesh to survive. (Sorry, family!)
Play as Dad or Mom, or have a friend join you and play together in simultaneous two-player action!
What will you do? Save your family or eat their flesh... It’s up to you!

    What's new:

ZOMBIE MADNESS was programmed by Óscar Toledo Gutiérrez.
He has created many games for the Mattel Intellivision, including SPACE RAID and PUMPKIN MASTER, and many more.
Óscar originally created and offered a version of ZOMBIE MADNESS for free ( as a .ROM file ) in October 2019.
He has improved and polished the game! New features include:
Expanded game play, a simultaneous two-player mode, more music, more nice house furniture, and a "miniboss"

Buy just the game cartridge and manual, or you can buy the game cartridge and manual and box and overlay!

Please note that the game cartridge and manual are being sold as one package being offered by tim duarte.
The box and overlays are being sold as a separate package that is being offered by steve jones.
So if you want the game cartridge and manual and the box and the overlays, you will be making two separate purchases.

To order, and for more information....

please visit the ZOMBIE MADNESS web page at:

    http://www.2600connection.com/features/zombie/zombie.html

Please note that we are still waiting for the high-quality cartridge labels to arrive, so the game cartridge and manual will not be shipped until later in the month.

I do not have an exact timeframe as of today. However, I wanted to open up the option for buyers to make purchases and I will provide updates from time to time.

Boxes and overlays are ready to be shipped.

Also please note that 100 cartridges have been made. 100 manuals have been printed. These do not have serial numbers.

Based on previous game sales, only 80 boxes and 80 overlay sets have been made.

I would like to say and give a big "thank you" to:

Óscar Toledo Gutiérrez for creating and programming the game

Mark Thompson for creating and printing the manual and play-testing the game

Steve Jones for creating the box and the overlay and the cartridge label and play-testing the game

Joe Zbiciak for producing the game cartridges

    ENJOY!

  8. No - it is the same. I worked out an agreement with Luc to be a distributor of the game. We made 300 of these and are no where near close to selling out. Intellivision Revolution, Good Deal Games , and now Intellivision Collector have been distributors of the GOSUB game.  I hope to reach the goal of selling all 300 and then hopefully we can release the ROM to the general public for free!

  11. I purchased an Atari 130XE computer from him July 2020. The package was expertly boxed and the computer was wrapped inside with plenty of bubble wrap.

He did practically the best packaging for protection I have ever seen. I bought the computer and sent him payment on Friday July 10 and received the package in the mail on Monday July 13! Now that is fast!   Would gladly do more business with him in the future!

  12. No, there was no special reason. Originally I was going to have all 4 be green, but then I decided against it at the last minute. These color buttons were available.

I like having the red button as the primary because I also planned to use this controller with my Atari 2600.

By right, to be consistent with the original Coleco SAC, the color order should be Yelllow, Orange, Purple, Blue.

Perhaps I will do this order on the next one...

  13. Hi everyone

Just thought that I would share and display my custom Super Action Colecovision controller.

I spent some time researching and designed the layout and had some help from my friend Scott Stilphen with his masterful build and soldering skills.

As you can see in the picture below, I am an "old school" right-handed gamer, so I opted to have the joystick on the right so I could operate it with my right hand and

press the buttons with my left.

Trying to see if there is any interest in having some more of these made. The design can be changed. Colors for the buttons can be customized. I just wanted mine to

be similar to the color scheme of the Coleco Super Action controller. We can build these for a price of $125.

The controller measures 9 inches in length from left to right. It is 6.5 inches from top to bottom, and is 3 inches in height at its peak. It does slope downwards to around 1 in the bottom.

Features a nice arcade-quality microswitch joystick and 4 microswitch arcade-quality buttons.

The inside components are a Easy CV input/output board and 12-key membrane keypad by Edladdin.  A 9-pin controller cable was salvaged from a standard Colecovision controllers that was no longer working.

I am also using this on my Atari 2600 and it works great. ( However the 3 additional fire buttons are not used. )

If you would like to get some more information, please let me know.

    thanks,

    Tim D.

  14. Now available and for sale:   I have a number of ALIEN GREED 4 cartridges for the Atari 2600.  Price $25 plus shipping.

ALIEN GREED 4 (ALIEN GREED ADVENTURE)  was programmed by Chris Read ( AKA "atari2600land" here on AA ).

It takes place in a familiar setting to many Atari 2600 fans: it's in the setting of ADVENTURE (by Atari)!

There are four other games in the series that Chris has created. Alien Greed, Alien Greed 2, Alien Greed 3, and Alien Greed 5!

All of the games are parodies of the collector who is a completist, or one who "must have them all."

You play the role of a green alien, and in your quest to collect Atari 2600 game cartridges in the setting of ADVENTURE,
you will run into many adversaries and obstacles who are out to stop you, including a dragon!
There are BOSS levels, too! There's lots to explore in this 16K videogame cartridge for the Atari 2600.
As a comparison note, ADVENTURE (by Atari), which was programmed and created by Warren Robinett, is 4K in size.

For ordering information and  more history about the original Complete In Box release from 2012, please visit the ALIEN GREED 4 web site page at:

    http://www.2600connection.com/features/ag4/features_ag4.html

    thanks,

    Tim D.
