It’s killing me.  I just cannot understand everything.  What are all the voice messages in Wizard of Wor?

On the attract screen it sounds like

    1. finally meet the missed urinal floor

    2. paging Missile Troy

    3. I Kung pow post five

#1. is actually saying "Find me, the Wizard of Wor"

    I am stumped on #2 and #3.

If someone can get permission from Collectorvision, I could post a printable overlay file that looks like this....

    space raid.jpg

wouldn't it be a better idea to create an overlay that is more in line with Steve's box design?  The artwork from Steve's box and black background?

  5. I am happy to announce that programmer Óscar Toledo Gutiérrez AKA "nanochess" has agreed to allow a release of a limited run of 50 SPACE RAID cartridges for the Mattel Intellivision.

Please note this is a loose game cartridge ( in a brand new LTO-style shell ) with a small black and white label and it also comes with a 4-page black-and-white basic manual.

I have these for sale starting today, May 4, 2020. Once the 50 cartridges sell, no more are going to be made.

Perhaps you missed out on this fantastic game when it was first released in 2014. Now is your chance!

Price is $25 and ( and shipping )

    More information at:

    thank you,

  6. A few years ago I obtained a number of new PCBs to make Odyssey2 games from ozyr at packrat.

These boards were created and made by Rene van den Ended in Holland.

Price: $2 each       ( plus shipping )    I will provide a shipping quote

From Rene (note this is for 27C256 EPROMs, he did note that others could be used, but you’d have to ask him how to use them — I’ve always used 27C25 (originally ST, but then AT, and I always use OTP [write once only]), and have had very good luck with them — aka, minimum failures, like 1 in 500 chips)

    EPROM NOT INCLUDED

Will include the additional programming and soldering steps with the purchase

[ ORIGINAL PICTURES REMOVED AS PER THEY WERE PROPERTY OF OZYR ]

Here is a picture of 2 boards ...  so each of the 2 sides  ,  the solder side and the component side ,   can be seen

  7. Many homebrew games are not on the C7061. Just a few of them were included. This is because many of the homebrew games are still being sold in the cartridge format.

I am happy to report that DEATH RACE ( Odyssey2 style ) is still available for sale on my web site:

    http://www.2600connection.com/features/death_race/features_death_race.html

please note we did an original release with a plastic storage box. It now sold just as a loose cartridge with a manuall. please let me know if you have any questions.

    thanks

  8. Hi everyone

I downloaded the free THE SECRET GOVERNMENT WAFFLE PROJECT & was trying to play it inside the LTO FLASH User Interface software with jzINTV.

I could not get past the title screen.

I contacted Steve AKA "INTVSTEVE" here on AA ( the creator of the LTO FLASH User Interface software ) & he kindly provided the following workaround:

    1. Right click on the ROM and choose the 'Edit ROM Features...' menu item:
      image.thumb.png.0a6e492759390a4f37da0b25825812a1.png
    2. This will show the following little window:
      image.png.b3658f0c31d6fd0a2e5e42b1d6153a4e.png
    3. Click on the 'ECS' part on the left hand side, and you will see this:
      image.png.379d0a48534d2f3f80c7f7d8a52bc7b2.png
    4. Click on Compatibility 'Requires' and change to 'Compatible'
      image.png.766eae77b9351a7f5a331420187f4803.png
    5. Click the green checkmark

Now, you will see the following command line:

jzIntv will execute the ROM 'Secret Waffle 102 JLP' with the following command line, based on the current settings:

    jzintv.exe -e "D:\Users\Steve\intellivision\ROMs\EXEC.BIN" -g "D:\Users\Steve\intellivision\ROMs\GROM.BIN" -E "D:\Users\Steve\intellivision\ROMs\ECS.BIN" -v1 -J1 "--jlp-savegame=D:\Users\Steve\intellivision\ROMs\secretwaffleromv102jlp.jlp" "D:\Users\Steve\intellivision\ROMs\secretwaffleromv102jlp.bin"

Notice that pesky '-m2' is gone.

The changes you made above do not modify the ROM in any way -- they are stored in your local ROM list for LUI. But you can do this once and 'set it and forget it'.

    TO START THE GAME:

Press '3' at the title screen, and you will see:

    image.png.957d1e893aae428cb21cb4d5211323c2.png

Then press 1, 2, or 3 and the game will start.

  9. I received a FREE ( yes, free ) RF switch box from JrPac. All I had to do was pay for the shipping expense in paypal. He sent me a quote. The RF switch for my Atari computer arrived a few days later, tested it out and it works great!   Thank you JrPac. I hope to do more business in the future!
