  1. I thought I'd post a link to the original thread with pictures, I was looking for it myself :-) http://atariage.com/forums/topic/179271-ide-plus-20-new-ide-host-adapter/
  2. i made some Pro System images a while a go. It takes for ever! Any it's a feature I just wanted to test. I'm not a die hard software collector, so basically all the protected disks I've had could be found on the web.
  3. Put me down for two + ribbon cable. My BBS is running great on the current IDE+ and 800XE. Almost never a problem. And if it does, a reboot always clears the problem Stack it with all features possible
  4. From what I understand (I read it very quickly, I'm at work) the loading speed is slower because of ATR mounting. I thought only SIDE supported this... In that case you can't compare those two.
  5. Found it! But unfortunately does not ship to my country (The Netherlands). And contacting the seller seems not available: "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing" It's a sad day We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing
  6. That's right, plug a SIO cable once, and leave it there,
  7. The Track sensor was the coolest. :-) You are right, so I put the 1050 on the shelf. I've ordered a new Happy at AtariMax and that 1050 working very nicely. :-) @Santos, so that's basically what I did! :-)
  8. Maybe a good feature to think about is the ability to flash only a portion of the U1MB. This way, you can only flash a new SDX or ROM. Since flashing takes a pretty long time and I'm currently flashing on a daily basis
  9. Booting SDX from the Fat32 Loader is a very nice feature. Most of all if you have to test several SDX versions. It works really well. Also got MyBIOS working together with U1MB SDX and MyIDE2.sys driver. So now I finally can copy files from one place to another.
  10. Try to loosen the screws a little. This helped me several times with a 600XL and 800XL keyboard. If the technique is the same ofcourse. But I don't own a 1200XL...
  11. Solved, I think. Seems like the pin 4 is not grounded to the cable shielding. When I ground pin 4 on the computer PCB, the image is clear... Does that make sense?
  12. With this picture: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:MiniDIN-4_Connector_Pinout.svg Svideo - Atari 1 - 2 2 - 2 3 - 4 4 - 3 is that ok?
  13. I don't know, I could use a multimeter and check it out. But, strange thing is... It has a very clear image on my 800XL and 800XLF So the cable must be ok.
  14. Vertical, horizontal zig-zag lines. But also a raster. It's like I see all the 'pixels' in GR.0 When I switch back to composite, the image is clear.
  15. Hi all, I'm having some issues with a 130XE and a svideo cable. When I use the same cable on my 800XL (svideo mod) and on the 800XLF, I have a good image. But on 'all' my XE's (130XE and 800XE) I have give a distorted image. So, my TV is ok, the cable should be ok. But I can't believe all my XE's are faulty. Does anyone have an idea on this one? I've included a picture.
  16. Confirmed, same with Qmeg 4.3 I have to set D1 to H. When I try to set U, the disk doesn't boot. Don't know why. It's slightly faster I guess :-)
  17. I'm interested I guess, shipping to the Netherlands?
  18. Did you do the obvious? By running down the wires? And I'm curious, how did you mount the DB9. And moreover, what is that blackbox doing on top of the modulator?
