Was looking at the Ultimate PC Interface V3 on your site. Mainly want to use it for Intellivision and Atari 2600 and Atari 800 emulators on Raz Pi 3b+ Retropie Emulation Station setup with original controllers. I had a few questions:
-Will it work well on that setup?
-Will the controllers always be easily recognized by that system as I unplug and swap them or will I have to reconfigure every time?
-What effect will your adapter have on my current 8 bit do sn30 pro + controller which is the only one I use right now? Will that still be easily recognizable without reconfiguring when I swap it with your adapter?
I really appreciate your feedback on this. Thank you!

Sorry, I didn't get a notice for your May 17 message. To use the Ultimate V3 -
- set the Ultimate switches all up
- connect the USB
- connect the joystick
- hold the joystick fire button and press the Ultimate button between the cables
That Ultimate plug (A or B) is now set for that controller. Repeat on the other plug if you want to use it.
If you have a windows PC, first test it in joy.cpl. This way you are not having to also worry about emulator settings. When you see it working in joy.cpl, then try it on the Retropie.
Thank you very much. It all worked perfect on the pc test and then I got it working on my pc emulators. I guess I'll tackle the retropie next.
Just to clarify:
At what point from startup would I plug into into retropie?
Will it need the button pushes again or now only needs that if I use a different controller?
The emulators will need to be mapped like on the pc?
I don't think matters when you plug in the Ultimate in to the RPi. The Ultimate remembers the last controller, so you only need to repeat if you want to change to a different one. There is mapping in Emulation Station and you may need to also map in the individual emulator - depends on the emulator.
