Excellent! I'm a big O2 and KC fan so I'm really looking forward to the finished product.

I've always preferred the Intellivision version. -
What is everyone going to use their tax refund for Atari Related?

The Intellivision is probably my favorite vintage system, although the 2600 is right up there with it. Thanks for the offer, but I have several of the Intellivoice modules. -

Right now I'm in the middle of an Intellivision buying spree, but I do plan on picking up a few Jaguar titles that I'm missing. -
I have a boxed system that I picked up cheap a couple of years ago at a thrift store. I couldn't believe it when I saw it! They definitely didn't realize what they had. Since I don't have many games for it I don't play it too often, but it is a nice system. Need to get an Everdrive, that's for sure.

I'm a relative newcomer to the 7800 as well. I've had mine for years, but only really did anything with it in the past couple of months. I kind of kick myself for not starting earlier, but it's great to have a "new" system to enjoy. I've managed to collect about twenty games so far . Most CIB.. I totally understand your excitement and know you're going to love the 7800!

Gotta love the oldies! Poker and Blackjack remains one of my favorites to this day. Primarily because of the dealer.
-
Looking for Hover Force for the Intellivision. I prefer CIB, but if anyone has just a cart they'd like to part with, I'd consider that too. Thanks! Bought one!

I have some great memories playing Scott Adams games. A lot of late nights spent at the keyboard!

No sanding. Trimming with an utility knife. Check out the 7800 cartridge port pics in the second post of this thread. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/112166-modifying-the-2600-cart-slot-to-take-damaged-carts/ Makes a big difference!

I hold it in my right hand and move the joystick with my left. My hands aren't large by any stretch of the imagination. Must just be one of those weird things that causes some people to cramp up and others not to. I'd like to try the Atari joypads, but I've read some pretty awful things about them . I love the Intellivision controller!
-
I've never had an issue with the Proline joystick. As a matter of fact, I rather like them. Makes me wonder why so many find them uncomfortable and lacking while other don't have a problem with them. Hand size? Left handed vs right handed? Just kind of mysterious to me.

Just some minor surgery so the carts don't fit so blasted tight anymore. Now they "click" right in and come out easily.
-
I had mine apart last week to do a cart port mod. No marks of any kind on the shielding.

Tempest 2000 AvP Raiden Rayman Doom Honorable mention to Supercross 3D. It bumps up into the top five every now and then.

Questions and Impressions -- Commodore 128D
mitchd61 replied to SoulBlazer's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
I had a 128D years ago, but sold it when I moved to the Amiga. I always regretted it. I found another two years ago at a flea market for a measly $20.00 and jumped on it. It cleaned up nicely (no dings or scratches) and works perfectly. They're great machines! -
You're right. I bought a broken Intellivision System Changer (for cheap) awhile back and it was a quick fix to get it back up and running. It works great with the Harmony cart.

Which version of the Intellivision do you like?

Weren't we all?! Sometimes I still am!
