That Reach Acheivement was seriously broken. I must have landed a couple hundred succesful assasination until that thing finally registered.

Your post was better before you edited it... In any case, I never did pick up a Kinect. Seeing that video of that guy smacking his kid to the floor sort of made me decide it was not such a good idea. However, the Kinect was really not much of a failure. Sure, not many games came out, but it has been selling better than anyone expected, outsold the move, and has seriously helped Microsoft over the last year. The most interesting things about the Kinect were the things other people have done with them outside of 360 gaming. lmao...ive smacked my own kid a few time "bowling" Look at it this way. The OP of this thread, who trashed the Kinect and thought it was a complete faiure, now has a Kinect - and really likes it.

btw..the railgun is the shiz

And it's pretty much spot on what I was expecting; old school fps goodness. Graphics are not going to wow anyone, id say the look is more like PREY instead of black ops. I did get the impression that this game is going to be awsome regardless of the graphics, though I expect everyone to make that their biggest critique.

Not sure if this has been a topic before What achievments were your hardest to obtain? Mine are Headchomper from Alien Hominid and Little Rocketman from Halflife 2. Headchomper took me about 3 hours straight or precision jumping. Carrying that stupid gnome in halflife sounds easier than it really is, little bastard never would stay in the vehicle. I had to launch him accross the map with the gravity gun then hope I could find him on the other side.

Pay to Play “Call of Duty Elite” Is Coming
Skarrj replied to xg4bx's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I hear this complaint all the time but I don't really see it. Actually I HAVE seen it but in those cases it's obvious it's a laggy connection with players jumping 10 ft at a time, etc. On that note..maybe you should play hardcore modes where it's pretty much 1 shot 1 kill. If it takes you 10 shots to kill someone there then something is definitely wrong. I play nothing but hardcore, my K/D is pretty decent at 1.81 and 1.95 on my other account so I can say Im confident that my rounds should be hitting where I aim. -
If you have some hot friends..then dance central can provide some entertainment. Kinect sports is ok, pretty much like wii sports. Im looking forward to "the gunslinger"

Pay to Play “Call of Duty Elite” Is Coming
Skarrj replied to xg4bx's topic in Modern Console Discussion
The thing that sends me into an absolute frenzy with the COD game are the inconsistant latencey issues. I can unload an entire magazine into someone a few feet from me and get zero hit markers. I go to the theater and the video looks nothing like what I was seeing; sometimes it looks like im just standing there and not firing a single round. How many controllers have to die before this crap is fixed? Also, I understand that there is a perk that decreases explosive damage...but when I find someone prone and I drive the RC right on the back of thier skull and detonate it...that person should die instantly. -

That's the thing. COD has such a large audience that it won't tank. It will probably do great. Let's be honest, any group that "can't wait" to pay $15 for a few maps (some of them taken from the older COD games) will easily fall for this. You know the old saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted". This is just the next phase of taking everything online and denying ownership of the product by the customer. I probably won't be getting a console next gen, I'll stick to a monthly rental service on the pc like OnLive or Gametap. At least those services don't hide the fact that you have no ownership because they're just rentals. I also have a huge backlog of games from last gen and this gen to keep me happy for several years. Ya know, Im gonna have to disagree. We are slowly coming to the point of market saturation with the COD franchise. Take a look at Guitar Hero/Rockband. I sorely miss the days of the old xbox when most map packs were free. -

What is the probablity of ever finding a Battlesphere gold?
Skarrj replied to MAYAman's topic in Atari Jaguar
Right, because whoever spends $1000 on a jaguar game is an average gamer. -
XBLA Ninja Turtles, fall in the manhole 4 or five times for an easy one.

Hi Dan, you've bought a "factory sealed" copy and paid a premium for it. Once you open it's value will drop, perhaps a good deal, so you might want to get an idea of how much you're likely to get on resale. And this is what's wrong with the whole picture. It seems absurd that this game is commanding such a rediculous price, yet there is a midsummer proto that has yet to sell on ebay. -
from what i remember when i had a jag modem it was about 14.4 to 19200 for the jag modem but depending on line quality and such and other factors i believe it could connect as low as 9600. Anyway guys back on topic... Jaglink over TCP/IP idea.... it can be done, just need a good programmer that knows how to write network code and create a program with a nice GUI to allow simple connection between two computers and tunneling serial data back and fourth. I think somehting like the old xbox connect would work, the interface with the jaglink itself would be the problem. What makes you say that the jaglink itself is the problem??? I didnt say the jaglink "is" a problem, I said interfacing with something like xbconnect would be. If anyone can figure out how to get the jaglink to convert to rj45 and talk to xbconnect, id love to see it. The software is there.

I noticed there are a few that have not paid...if anyone backs out I definitly want onboard for at least one..possibly more
