Xenoblade on the gamepad..awesome. THis is a step in the right direction, hopefully the gamepad will fully control the games with the next update. Motion controls do work in this mode also, there is a sensor bar built in the gamepd.

Lag compensation is exactly what he is experiencing. This stupid shit has been going on in cod for years....not only cod. I use to have videos up that proved lag compensation before anyone admited to it.

Ign has always been a complete joke. I have noticed a trend though, if I pickup a game that they have underrated it usually turns out to be a gem.

If we're talking full priced games bought new BITD, I'd say Populus for the SNES. I had just gotten the system for Christmas of 91, was visiting my grandmother, and for my birthday (which is Feb 26th) she took me to a EB and let me buy a new game. There wasn't much out for the system, I had most of the games that were out, and recalled playing Populus for the PC and liking it, so I got it. Big mistake. Terrible port of that game. Since I had just turned 16, my spending money was limited. Luckily, a couple weeks later with birthday money from the folks I got Super Castlevania IV, which was a much better game in every sense of the word.

Damn, i thought this was a good port. I played this one to the end. Now the ps1 port of populous could be in the top ten of worst games ever.

In the last game I recall the thing went off about twice a minute and it was either my stupid cousin wanting to down some beers or my stupid girlfriend wanting to walk on the beach. Maybe I could have just killed them--I don't remember trying.

Mike Tyson's punch out, I could relentlessly punish his ass. Took him down in round 1 once. I get my ass handed to me now on the virtual console port. I swear the flicker doesn't work the same as it did on the nes.
