Can turn your tv/ cable box on/off and change channels. The wiitv app is more of a channel guide and has been completley useless to me. Had they enabled channel streaming to the gamepad like xbox can with fios, wii tv could have been a killer app.

Btw...if anyone wants to play monster hunter, cod, 007, or splinter cell add me.

If this had let me switch analog stick positions I would be in. The stick travel appears to be long.

No..the only issues ive had are some pretty long load times and a crash during a mission. I climbed a tower and couldnt move...only look around.

For the general population, Atari meant 2600. Id say most people are not even aware of the computer line.

Hell ye...right here. SMS was my first "next gen" console after the 2600. I loved that thing. I just picked up a prestine boxed 3d bundle a month or so ago and have been buying up everything I can. Picked up Golden axe Warrior and Ninja Gaiden for relatively cheap

For a system that seemed destined for great fps, it sure does lack in that dept. COD multiplayer is seriously dumbed down, the single player missions are terrible. Resistance single player is fantastic, multiplayer works very well (when it works), otherwise it is a serious buggy almost unplayable mess. The jak trilogy and the metal geard HD remake are best buys.

So, if the floppy drive was not detected, the desktop icons would still be visible? This thing was in my garage that gets pretty hot. Maybe some solder lossened.

I need to pick up a lynx someday. The last handheld that felt confortable to me was the game gear. All the gameboys/3ds are terribly small. PSV is a step in the right direction. The wii U controller is about right though.

honestly...the tablet controller work very well for what it does. Playing COD while taking dump is worth the price of admission.

Aside from the time I played xenoblade, the comparison of the wii to excersize equipment is pretty accurate. Comparing the wii u is not though. All my other consoles have taken a backseat to the wii U. I love this system as much as I loved the dreamcast when it was released. Monster hunter is getting the most playtime, but the new splinter cell is closing in. Ive seen alot of talk about nintendo land. I think as a multiplayer game it can be fun, but by yourself it has only a few standout games. The donkey kong level is pretty unique and I do play that one alot, but the Pikmin mini game could almost be a stand alone title. That is probably the best game on the disk.

Are these going to be recolored like the 3ds was? Already have the zombiu bundle.......however

I took my 1040 out of storage last night and fired it up with the hopes of playing around with my (new) STOS disks. My desktop seems to be devoid of any icons now, no drives and no trashcan. Doesnt boot to the floppy either. The floppy light up when booting up, but makes a buzzing sound that I dont remember happening before. It has been a while since ive used the machine, so it may have made this sound previously.

I dont have a count, but I have a decent collection of NIB and CIB jaguar stuff. I eventually want all the blue boxed Atari XE carts.

80-20 New-used for me. I like having my game complete. The DLC scams now almost force me to buy new anyhow, or I have to buy all the extra content. Ill pickup a used game if it is something I can't find in a store anymore "star wars force unleashed sith edition" or some thing mad cheap like bioshock. If games ever go to DLC only or somehow prevent me from buying or playing used games...I hate to say it but Ill probably be with one less hobby. As a game collector and someone who is nostalgic about the old days of videogames and the good times ive had playing with friends, it is a disturbing era we are coming into. I think it is almost inevitable we are going to have another game crash if these crazy practices continue or evolve.

I agree with everything you said except Madworld being a failure. THat was the most underated game on the WII, the conduit was garbage though. It was no fault of the game that it went ignored by the general public.

So, i can assume your all over the star wars LE? This might be the best looking console ever.

to be honest..i never used anything but the lunar staff in the last two games. i could care less about claws or whatever are inthe dlc

but....there are no flamboyantly gay colors.

Either Dragon Warrior or the First Final Fantasy. Id say maybe adventure on atari but I cant remember if I actually ever finished it.

A few of the LE's are going for serious money. The Bioshock LE is getting rediculous prices lately *$800+) and the first two Mass effects are going for alot also.
