    One thing that bothered me is the MadMax initials on Dig Dug. Dig Dug only allows for three characters not six.

    The old 2003 Hyundai Accent died. I think it needs a new alternator and I have to force feed it gas. No one here will drive it. I think it will cost as much as its worth to get it ready to sell.

      Personally, search for another car. Go on Craigslist.org in your area to search and you'll be amazed on really interesting postings for cars on there by private sellers and dealers.. I purchased my Ford Explorer for $500 bucks and worked out fine. Now of course I'm mechanically inclined and lucked out with a good working car. But you do have many choices to choose based on your preferences that can be to your liking.

      Advance Auto is far cheaper than Autozone for the same stuff. Order online for local pick up and apply a coupon code. They have your alternator for about $150. It's easy to find a $50 off code or 30% off code to bring it down to $100.

      That's why it's so important for parents to provide mentally stimulating activities, especially for very young children.

       

      I think one of the best things my parents did for me was to give me printing calculators and other machines to play with when I was two or three years old. My way of "playing" with them was to try to figure out how they worked, which got me an early start with computers.

      Nothing more mentally stimulating (or challenging or rewarding) then dealing with other people. Get out to the park, play dress up, act out scenes, play board games. No reason for a 3 year old to be glued to an ipad.

      Tell 'em that college is a magical place and is worth putting up with the crap in high school (worked for me). That should buy you about 2-4 years till they move back in.

    I recently found a working Sears Tele-Games Super Video Arcade console at Goodwill. It works pretty well if you blow on the carts and flick the switch a lot. the contacts need cleaning. The AV mod kit will be here next week. The console is very yellowed and one of the controllers has a gash through buttons 1 & 5. Any suggestions on fixing the controller? Is this machine rare? Since it's the Sears version, I guess it wouldn't be any more rare than the Atari Tele-Games version. I could do a sun bleaching on it. Is it considered a sin to repaint it all black? Maybe add a red power led?

    Snagged a Telegames Super Video Arcade with Intellivoice and 17 games, overlays, manuals and a few empty boxes for $25 at Goodwill. It needs some cleaning, bleaching and fixing of the left controller.

    Sorry for the long time to report in. I've got the machine up and running now. I currently have some problems with the led lights. I think I just plugged them in backwards for a few of them. That is why some are on and off. All the controls work. I had the trackball doing sideways instead of up and down. I had to reverse the plugs and it worked. Same deal happened with the spinner. It was going up/down instead of left/right. I've put the hinges on and added a chain so the lid doesn't fly backwards when opened. I had to redo some of the connections due to shorts. After I reverse the polls on the leds, I need to get that Tron stick working. The system is running BigBox from Launchbox. It's a very nice and simple interface for running multiple emulators. I'm still configuring it.

    The wiring here is almost complete. I need to put in the wiring for player 2's led lights and make a wire to connect them in series. Th red El Wire will light up the bottom of the trackball. I haven't put in the Tron flight stick yet. I'm still looking for a why to convert the Night Mission arcade flight stick to use the Tron handle. I may have to bit the bullet and invest in a real Tron flight stick ($140) :-( Once the wiring is done, I can put the hinges on the main box and put in some wire management tie downs.
