  1. I always use WinHiip to copy retail games to the HDD. It is a litle annoying to pop the drive out each time. I wait until I have a certain number of games to move over before poping the drive again.
  2. Why not just use the hard drive image I posted a few pages back? You don't need a memory card for that.
  3. I've been reading about all the new updates to the dashboard in the xbox one and thinking the interface is getting just too complex. Besides all the social media, tv tuning, advertising, DLC and game library, you can tweak the interface for transparencies and other stuff. This thing is now a complete desktop computer! Is all this stuff really necessary? Back in the old days there was no crazy OS to run the games on. The most complex we got was a new pause button and number keypad on the controller and even that was pushing it!
  4. Looking at the ones on my drive, I don't think a generic one will fit. There are some differences.
  5. Has anyone gotten to play this yet?
  6. Do you get the feeling doctors fish for things that are wrong with you so they have something to cure?

No, it's actually that doctors can't tell you what's wrong with you until you tell them what's wrong with you.

OR you should all get a clue.

  7. True, you don't get rails with the network adapter. You do get them with Final Fantasy online.
  8. I'm still waiting for the pending release of Microsoft Word 2013 for the Atari ST.
  9. If I remember correctly there was a version of Lunar Lander that was published in ANALOG computing. You would need a flash cart to play it unless you type the code in yourself and save to disk drive.
  10. I let my haters be my motivators. Mostly they tell me I suck. That makes me sad. This was not a good idea.

I think someone told me to pretend they're all in their underwear.

Someone told me to strip them naked so that they were in their underwear. Or maybe I misheard.

Someone told me to just wear underwear. I think I got trolled.

  11. The 3DO thrift store price in 2015 $20 The Saturn thrift store price in 2015 $25 The PlayStation thrift store price in 2015 $15
  12. I don't see any reason to delete anything in the image. It's not like your hurting for storage space and the entire image only takes about 10gb. I believe there are only seven utilities on the image anyway. If you need to you can remove things once the image is created by using winHIIP. I would get rid of SMS player and POPs emulators. Preinstalled Applications: - uLaunchELF Version 4.42_Evil - Open PS2 Loader Version 0.9.1 + GMS 0.37 - HD Loader Version 0.8c 48Bit (I'm not sure if its 48bit or 28bit, if its not 48bit, you can add it.) - ESR beta r9b (GUI) - GS Mode Selector Version 0.37 - SMS Player Version 2.9 - Memory Card Annihilator Version 2.0 - Sony PlayStation: POPS Emulator (Size set to 768mb, so you can one game to it. Note: I added a 30mb game to it.) - Gradius Gaiden (POPS Emulator) - Free McBoot Installer (Does not work.. ok it does work, it just can't see all the files needed.)
  13. Greg is right, it will copy the disc to the HDD in about 2-3 minutes. I find that actually works better than downloading an iso and copying it over. I had a Jax & Daxter iso that wouldn't work correctly on the hdd. I copied it from my disc instead and it works great. Probably a bad iso.
  14. yup. You use WinHIIP to read the HDD and load images on the drive.
  15. If I were you I would just get the SATA adapter for $60 and the 2TB for $80 and let the downloading begin. You can however get the IDE to SATA Hdd adapter for about $10. But you need to be careful to make sure the network interface still connects to the ps2. You would need to go with a laptop HDD instead otherwise it will never fit inside. I've seen people that sell those modified adapters.
  16. You beat me to that one. It's a pretty good deal. I have that one in my home server
  17. That's not true. The current HD image will read up to 2TB.
  18. You could buy the SATA Network adapter card for the PS2 and put in 2TB HDD for about $100.
  19. I've never thought to print color directly on the CD. I usually do the lightscribe labeling. Looks like a color CD printer is pretty expensive. $400+ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007FGUS/ref=s9_simh_bw_p229_d0_i4?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-6&pf_rd_r=1V7CDCKK1JDVCMMKPYZW&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1578087442&pf_rd_i=172635
  20. I agree I think you would be happier with 300-400GB drive. I wouldn't buy a refurbed one either. I usually buy from newegg since they are just a few miles away and its pretty much next day shipping for me. I think you could get a new Toshiba 80gb for about $40 with a google search.
  21. I like the Tron and Blade Runner pictures. Nice job!
  22. I use this one from amazon. It does SATA and IDE. They are pretty widely available at Amazon or NewEgg. Anyone will work. One of these days I should try a 2TB drive since they are pretty cheap now. http://www.amazon.com/Drive-Adapter-Converter-Optical-External/dp/B001OORMVQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1421880605&sr=8-5&keywords=ide+to+usb+3.0
