    Whatever it comes out to be, I would put the XEGS in the same generation as the 5200. They are the same machine for the most part. IMHO, I think the XEGS is just another A8 with a detached keyboard and not a console but that is a different argument.

    Heaver sixer for Christmas in '78. I was nine at the time. My dad was worried I would break the tv when I installed it. Truth be told, if he installed it, the tv would have been broken.

      Or this (from Trekker_1138 - gotta give credit where credit is due): Atati was a Kazakstani version of the Atari VCS. It operated at .0005566 mhz and featured 67 bits of RAM. Its pack in game was "Space Minefield" where the player would guide a spacecraft represented by a single dot around an asteroid belt that the player himself created by taping little bits of paper to the TV screen.

    At my local Goodwill, I found four original XBoxs and three Playstations. There always seems to be those systems. Other rarer systems I found was a N64 and Gamecube. I did find a NES controller and some snes games like Killer Instinct. I'm still hoping to see a Neo Geo. Hey, I can dream!

    The problem with digital downloads is that they are nothing but an 'use license'. This means the publisher can delete the game at any time they want no matter how much you paid for it. EA might decide to delete your Madden 2013 when 2014 comes out. Also if you don't play by the rules of XBL, you lose your entire library. Downloads mean you own nothing except the temporary right to play.

    Still $100 is only a game and half. They could include a pack-in for the difference to soften the blow.

    Wow! That's pretty amazing. They actually heard the groaning and bellyaching of the gamers. Now lets see them release a package without the Kinect for $100 cheaper. They could at least include a game for the difference. It makes me wonder why they thought all those policies were good ideas that the gamers would just accept.

    I'm a little confused. My Harmony cart says bios 1.05 so I downloaded the HarmonyCart-1.2-win32.exe (3.8 MB) and flashed the bios. The system said it was successful. I put the cart in my 7800 and it still said bios 1.05. Did I need to download something more?

    I was planning on switching the AV cord between my Gamecube or the N64 so I think I'm good there. As for games, I'm pretty much looking for the classics like Mario 64, Zelda, StarFox, Shadows of the Empire and Golden Eye to start.
