As to the original topic.... Arcade version hands down. I luckily grew up during the arcade craze and no way in hell does any emulator or whatever compare to playing an arcade cab. or pin. If all you have is an other than original to go on, you really missed out on the arcade experience. Luckily I still have a great arcade, with original machines in Ground Kontrol.

Now that is also a good question "arcade games that didn't stand out". I vote for Frenzy (boring and easy).

Remember the baseball size brown pinballs? Damn, I miss the 80's, great arcades, chicks with big hair, great music, and of course... no worries about bills.

Here is another one that REALLY stood out at Electric Palace, I bet RetroRussel remembers this one. Hercules!

I could not remember the name of this game, searched around and found it. It was DEFINITELY one that stood out. I remember that it was at my local arcade for a very short time. Wacko!

This is my personal favorite, it stood out in any arcade in the 1980's.
