  1. I just had a guy on craigslist who was suppose to buy a ps1 from me but he didn't. He said his phone died so we didn't get do the trade yet. That was yesterday! Can we add him to the list yet?

His phone died? So you were still in contact with him apparently through e-mail???? Why would you add him to the bad trader list so soon?

  2. O.K. after reading about QWOP and watching some you tube videos, and then trying to play for the last 2 hours and failing miserably. I can honestly say that QWOP is a F'in P.O.S. that is so impossibly hard that it is not even remotely playable. It makes Froggo's Karate seem like fun. As of this point in my life I can honestly say that QWOP is the worst game I have ever...????played??? I do not even know if I was actually playing this P.O.S. as every single thing I did was exactly opposite of what I was trying to do.

  3. Good topic.

#1 Dragons Lair - So original and fun when 1st released (and even now). I can't think of any other game that gave me so much enjoyment.

#2 Asteroids - Very first game I could marathon (thank you Benny Ha for all your tips). Asteroids made me the gamer that I am today.

#3 Berzerk - This game is the catalyst that got me into gaming.

#4 Thayer's Quest - An odd keyboard arcade game that sucked MANY a token from me and for naught (as their is NO ending, game was never completed). AWESOME game that deserved to be finished.

#5 Missile Command - The second game that I was able to marathon and it took a LONG ASS while to master it, but I still play my machine a few times a month.

#6 Scramble - Probably the biggest accomplishment for me when I was 13 or 14??? was to FINALLY pick up the payload @ the last stage.

#7 Matmania - Third game I was able to marathon, and damn was it fun. I am still looking to buy this game (original cab. and hardware only) as it is one of the few arcades left that I want to complete my arcade.

#8 Karate Champ - Yep, I know, it is an archaic and terrible game, but I and my best friend spent MANY a quarter battling it out. I loved the lunge punch... FULL POINT!

#9 Tempest - Tough ass game that I still suck at. To this day I still can't get to the invisible levels w/o the add more credits option. I just don't get how people can be so good at this game and I stink. It is a blast to watch the experts play and try to figure out what I am doing wrong and what they are doing right.

#10 Star Wars - No list is complete w/o Star Wars. I am still trying to marathon this game to this day (I actually go to Ground Kontrol every week and try to perfect my Tempest gaming). I do not have a machine at home and everyone wants at least $2000+++ for it in the Oregon and Washington area, sooooo I have to keep practicing on Ground Kontrols machine. I will (before I die) marathon this game!!!

  4. Goldeneye or Perfect Dark - Goldeneye, maybe the best game I have ever played

Ocarina of time or Majora's Mask - Ocarina of Time, simply for the fishing!

Pokemon Red or Blue - no clue, as I have never played either game.

Tetris or Columns - Tetris, because it is awesome and columns is a wannabe.

GameBoy or GameGear - Never played either of 'em.

Super Mario bros. or Sonic the hedgehog - Seriously? Mario every time no matter what the game.

SNES or Genesis - SNES made Zombies Ate My Neighbors, 'nuff said.

Street Fighter or Tekken - Tough choice, I guess I will go with Tekken as it was new and original.

Mario Kart 64 or Crash Team Racing - MARIO CART!!!!!!

Blast Prossessing or Mode 7 - No idea what either of these are.

  5. The secret is ... there is no secret, especially with some guys with no programming experience (that can be remotely verified) making a game for our beloved 2600. If there was a story here, I am sure, by now we would have read at least something about it by now on the mainstream news sites.

  6. I pulled out my 2600 stuff today from my childhood days and noticed this cart. I opened it up and took a couple photos.

My best buddy's dad was an electronics guy and he would bring home games on eeproms and things, so I just figured this was some hack cart from way back. Any chance it might be more than a hack?

The number on the back of the cart is:AG-910-02A

When I turn the game on, it looks complete as I remember the game.

    Thanks,

    James

Welcome to A.A. Did your friends dad work at Activision or was he a game designer or some other job where he might have had access to protos or whatever that cart. is?

  7. No, you PM'd me wanting to start a fight in real life. Yeah, you're a real quality individual.

Nope, called you a troll and told you what state I am in. As you keep checking my profile, I thought I would just tell you.

  8. I read it a bit differently, but that's because he's dumped on one of my previous threads with nasty sarcasm. So, now I'm the bad guy?

Honestly? I'll take my sale threads elsewhere. I don't need to be judged for being defensive.

B.S. You know as well as I do that I asked a good question about Paypal policies, and I was not even addressing you.

  9. Yea...I read what you wrote and can't understand why he is insinuating that you would do such a thing. Quite uncalled for IMHO, but there has been a whole lot of that around here lately...

I think it has to do w/ one of his sales threads. I thought that what one of the members offered a low price for something and thought it was funny. Anyway, I PMed him so we can take it out of the forums.

  10. Hello Guys, Not sure if this is the right place to post as Im new to the forums and am thinking of starting a small set of VGA graded atari 2600 games. I was wondering how to tell if a sealed atari 2600 game is a legitimate factory seal and not a re-seal? What things/signs to look for when spotting a re-seal. For instance, like how NES games come with an authentic H-seam/factory vent holes. I would like to get some info/help from the community if possible. This would be great to hear some replies. Thanks.

    Whats your E-Bay I.D.?
