After watching him for a while, its amazing how he seems to have each level and each solution memorized. This is fascinating.
Marathon gaming is all about the pattern memorization

I can marathon 3 games and none of them have any particuliar pattern, especially Missile Command.
EDIT: If there is a pattern I do know it.

I wish this wasn't ending in the middle of the night for me as I'm on the west coast.
Around 4 in the morning P.S.T. I think the ending time will be advantageous for folks willing to get up early, and really want it. I know I am one of those people.

I may end up having to put it back up, so you may get a second chance at it! =)
If you put it back up you may lose some credibility, and you might get less. After pimping it here on A.A. and the exposure you are getting on E-Bay, I don't think relisting it would be a good idea. Don't forget the serious bids won't come in until the last minute or so on your auction. I know that I will be one of them (the serious bidders).

If you really have something to say, send me a PM, I'll get you directions to the gym I train at and you can come down and we can go a few rounds... You can bring your G/F and her kid LOL
Like I said, the gyms usually open anytime you wanna sack up.

Thanks Cebus, probably gonna get the guy even crazier, lol. I am too f'in tired to "sack up" these days, he is probably a mma guy on the side with my luck. I just do not know what say, hey Ken you're right I am wrong. There ya go.

*giggles like a giddy little girl* cool, good to know!

I'll let you guys know what it actually is, once I find out. Also, I forgot to mention, she is kinda a mean person, and treats me poorly at work. So the temptation to buy it cheap is high. Lol.
Then buy low and sell high.

The OP has been banned.

I have an extra loose one and an extra boxed one. P.M. me and see if we can make a deal. I am in the states, so shipping will be SLOW and expensive.

Well the worst Is Jedi Arena and the best is easily, 'Star Wars: The Arcade Game'.

My plan as of year 1981 was to own every single 2600 cart. made, as of 2011 my plan has not worked out so well. After finding AA 3 years ago I found an incredible gap between what I owned and what was produced for the Atari. I pretty much have everything r-8 and below (except label variations and the hardest cart to get in the entire Atari collection, Espial). So, I guess my plan is to get the rest and restart my NES collection in earnest.

The guy is a little flaky, but I think I am going to get it within the next week. He wants me to do some work on a pin. and if that goes good I get the Baby Pac without spending a dime. I will upload pics. soon..... I hope.

Well I have never soldered something before. My dad said when he was a kid it happened to his atari and he just stuck like a piece of nail or something in one of the controllers. Do you know if that actually works?
Yes, that does work. And it will work for a LOOOOONG time and I am being serious. My step dad did something like that for me and it worked.

The seller did not test it (per his sales speel) and did not gaurantee it. This is definitely a buyer beware situation. I personally would not have taken the chance, but obviously some folks do. To neg. this guy would be bullshit as the seller clearly stated that he did not test it. Yeah, maybe the seller is a douchebag and knew it did not work, but his post clearly stated that he did not test it and did not know if it worked or not. Anyway, hey seller, chime in anytime, or if you are a scammer get lost.

Disjaukifa: I cleaned the contacts with 70% alcohol.
Should be at least 91%. That's a lot of water.
Yea I used paypal. I don't think there is any way I could get my money back since he did state all sales are final?
Awesome! Let me know what you find…I appreciate your help

Bennybingo: I got it off here tho, not eBay. Post #1 has the link of the listing. I used paypal but he said all sales are final and I even messaged him for a % back rather than a full refund and he said no to that too. Don't worry opening it up is my last resort.
If you gifted the money, you're stuck with it. Otherwise there may be recourse through PayPal. At the very minimum, I would leave negative feedback in the MarketPlace > Feedback section so that others will be cautious in dealings with him.
The guy said he could not test it in the sales pitch. I don't see how a neg. would be justified here.

Thanks for the link. The ad was not much help. Kind of wierd that it did not just say the title of the game. I don't think I have ever seen an ad that did not say the name of the product before.
Maybe it didn't say the name of the product because the "product" here was still in production and they hadn't decided 100% on a complete name for it yet. The ad copy was probably made long before printing, and they might have assumed that by the time it was in print the game would be named and everything would be good to go for the per-order basis, which adds in nicely to everything else about the ad I theorized earlier (Combat cart, generic photo, cut/paste screenshot on television).
Do you know if that was the common practice? I honestly do not think I have ever seen a product advertised that did not have a name. Your explanation makes sense, but seems like a terrible marketing technique.
-
The title is known from the cartridge, shown in the original thread. Unfortunately I forgot to include a link in my first post. Perhaps a moderator can add it for those who weren't around in 2007?
Thanks for the link. The ad was not much help. It's kind of odd that it did not just say the title of the game. I don't think I have ever seen an ad that did not say the name of the product before.

The one other thing I was wondering, what exactly is the title of the game? If someone already pointed it out, my apologies. I just can't figure it out from the ad. Thanks.
-
I was wondering how many you looked through, I looked through the next issue and I think the previous issue and did not see that ad.
I searched the latter half of 1983 and only found the one ad.
Were you able to read the title of the game that is inside the 2600?

Just like everyone said "Wavebird" I have two of them and they have lasted me around 6 plus years. They are fairly spendy though.

Your also halfway there to having one of my favorite games ever ...Marble Madness.
I don't think I could ever do that to a Road Blasters
RB is one of my favorite driving games of all time. Actually just thinking about it makes me want to go to the office and fire it up.I was offered me a Marble Madness yesterday, but it was a wee bit out of my price range. It's such a fun game to play on an upright!
If you don't mind me asking, what were they offering to sell it for? And did it work?

Awesome collection. I am most amazed by the Space Invaders cab. I don't think I have ever seen one like that.

Edit: OOP's I did not see where you said it was only sold in the U.K. and Japan when I first looked at the post.

I had no interest in playing Dragon's Lair when it came out. First of all, I couldn't waste my precious quarters on it, but mostly, once you get beyond the awesomeness of how great it looked at the time, the game didn't seem very exciting at all... boring, in fact. I wasn't impressed by those who got far in the game... I assumed it was just because they spent so much money on it.
Out of curiousity, what did you waste your precious quarters on?
