  1. I don't think I could ever do that to a Road Blasters RB is one of my favorite driving games of all time. Actually just thinking about it makes me want to go to the office and fire it up. I was offered me a Marble Madness yesterday, but it was a wee bit out of my price range. It's such a fun game to play on an upright! If you don't mind me asking, what were they offering to sell it for? And did it work?
  2. Your also halfway there to having one of my favorite games ever ...Marble Madness.
  3. Awesome collection. I am most amazed by the Space Invaders cab. I don't think I have ever seen one like that. Edit: OOP's I did not see where you said it was only sold in the U.K. and Japan when I first looked at the post.
  4. Out of curiousity, what did you waste your precious quarters on?
  5. You are 100% correct on that, I for some reason forgot to mention Combat. Shame on me.
  6. I have been the last two years and hope no pre opening cherry picking (yeah right) goes on this year. Other than that, great, I will be there and hope to get a halfway decent score this year.
  7. Best not answer the question if you feel uncomfortable or even bother to post. I on the other hand feel comfortable saying I have around $7000 worth of 2600 and other system stuff. My most valuable game being The R-8 version of Halloween with manual, it is definitely not my rarest, but probably the most valuable.
  8. Yeah, I have to agree with the previous posts, Space Invaders and Adventure. They are a couple of the greatest games ever released.
  9. As soon as I get it I will post some pics.
  10. I got to talking to him last night and he went down 50 bucks, but he is firm at @ 300$. I heard that someone is making new boards to this. I think it is time to buy.
  11. I found one (Baby pac-man pinball/arcade machine) by accident last week and managed to find the owner of the place its at. It does not work, but it is complete and the insides are very nice. Basically it is a 6 out of 10 cosmetically and complete throughout. I am fairly confident the only thing wrong with it is the corrosion I saw on the board (might be battery acid). Anyway, I was hoping some of you could tell me what I should pay for it. He wants $350. I am inclined to pay it, but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
  12. That is huge, reminds of that 'Hercules' pinball machine with balls the size of tennis balls. Your link, kinda looks like it plays Rampage, any ideas on that?
  13. If it does not sell on E-bay, P.M. me. Thanks
  14. Out of the ones displayed in your photo, I enjoy Tapper and Winter Games the most. Taz is pretty fun for me also. Lost Luggage pretty much blows, I could never get into that game. The rest are O.K. and fairly fun to play.
  15. I have around 300 doubles that are loose and around 200 doubles that are boxed. A couple of heavy sixers (boxed), light sixers (boxed), 4 switchers, and an extra vader. 2 boxed control balls, wireless controllers and a bunch of other misc. crap. I am eventually gonna sell the the dupes. , but it is honestly hard for me to let them go.
  16. Most great artists go to their grave feeling they were a failure. Only after they are in they ground does the public realize their genius. I am sure that the fact that a few hundred broke people on AtariAge think your work is awesome doesn't help much, but it is better than a kick to your gentleman vegetables. I think your lamps are the shiz! Gosh, did you buy one Chuck?
  17. That is an incredible deal you got. I would like to buy the Snoopy, my loose cart. no longer works.
  18. I have never once seen one below $1000 in the Portland metro area. Portland coin op., Mountain coin, and all the other small time sellers list this $1200 and UP and I mean WAY up. I think if you could get one under a thousand dollars you have done well.
  19. A tore up boxed E.T. is rare? You want $17.18 for a torn up boxed E.T. Good luck to Mcgrail and I feel sorry for any idiot that would pay that for a f'ed up box and one of the most COMMON (not rare) games in the Atari catalogue.
  20. Great game. Like to see it on the 2600.
  21. It is amazing how cheap a GameCube goes for $10-$25. It is the only system that I bought new $150 other than my ps3. The wave bird controllers for the GameCube go for twice the price of the GameCube console itself.
  22. Hey ps3 folks, I have a question for you. Since I have been laid off for the last 4 months my friend and I (he worked and got laid off the same time as me for the same company) have been playing my ps3 between job hunting and interviews. The only good coop game that I have has been 'Resistance': Fall of man. Can I get some suggestions of other good 2 player coop games that we can play at my house and not have anything to do with being online. Thanks.
  23. No it's not. Sort of. I don't get it. ( ? ) Me either, sounds kind of odd, but I am sure they know whats up.
  24. No it's not. Sort of. I don't get it. ( ? ) Jose is a collector of Atari 2600 items, and seems to have money. He bought Air Raid boxed for upwards of $30K. edit: if there's a bidding war for this, he's likely to win. That's a hell of a coincidence, The price I announced at VGS is $32,768.00 USD ($32k) That's just 50 cents a byte for the whole cart, or $4 a byte for the 8K Star Castle runs out of. No bidding war, first come first serve, cash, cashiers check, or wire deposit only. But, there's a little more to it than that... If someone does eventually purchase the cartridge, they can tell me if they think I should make another physical cartridge (serial number 00002 of course) and withhold the source for some number of years or if I should release the source and playable binaries (F8 bank switch for Stella and my custom 64K cart versions) immediately. $32,768.00 for a homebrew? Wow, you are really shooting high. Good luck, and by the way, the game looks great.
