Nasty little joke.

Very well said. I've always hated Philflound and this gives me some needed juice to accelerate that burning. Why do you hate Philflound? Do you feel he is a little shady in his dealings on E-bay, or his lack of answering direct questions from threads on this message board, or what?

Ha! My wife just told me where she saw a machine locally. We will be playing it soon..... Have fun and good luck finishing it up Heads.

An absolute ZERO. It is all phony reenactments. Just like Operation Repo (you know, the one with the absolutely disgusting fat chick) Lizard lick Towing, Hardcore Pawn, basically every TRU TV show minus the televised court stuff. I fucking hate that I was duped at first to think these shows were actually real. I guess I was a sucker for their faux real T.V. If you do not believe me, search the internet and see that these piece of shit shows are reenactments of supposedly real events. Read the title dude. I would say you are a countryfied dumbass. Meaning me.

Why screw a guy over if he can make a few bucks? If the buyer wants it he will pay the going price. Even if wiz floods E-Bay with these there will still be people bidding them up. And yes the seller either lied or did not know about this being the "ONLY ONE THAT"S EVER BEEN ON EBAY AND PROBABLY THE LAST ONE YOU'LL EVER SEE"! It is buyer beware. Simple as that, on an auction like this.

Nice to see a local arcade enthusiast. Do you go to Ground Kontrol often? My friend I just went today. The 720 controllers are completely broken (like usual) but everything else we played was working great. I went 2 hours on Asteroids only losing 1 life. My buddy dragged me away to play Joust. Anyway, I hope they get another Berzerk in there, I want to get at least in the top 3 scores.

ALbert and ALex, I think.

So, it's common practice to put a cap kit on those boards? And can you tell me an audio board that does not have them?
-
Out of curiousity, how did you troubleshoot the audio board and how were you planning on fixing it? Thanks. The way you worded your original post I thought you were saying that you were going to put a cap kit on an audio board. I have never heard of that. Thats why the question.

What does "Mcgrail" them mean?

It might be easier to do a, do not have list. And label variations, which has stymied my collection for years. I pretty much have (according to this website) 90% + of every game spit out (including label variations....ugh). And all the additional hardware, I guess that would be a different topic.

I read the one place in Portland Oregon and it's not Kencade. It is Ground Kontrol. Ken House is the guy that posted the link. He is a true ass, he tried to buy one of my arcade stand ups a few years back and basically told me unless it was made of gold I could fuck off. Of course he said that stuff via e-mail after coming here and telling me what was wrong with every single game I had. Anyway F him and his Dig Dug record. I whipped his ass at Asteroids and Missile Command when he was at my house. Rant over. http://aurcade.com/locations/view.aspx?id=35 I've interacted with Ken only briefly at the CAGDC Main Tournament in 2010 and at the CAGDC Mini Tournament last fall. To me he seemed like a nice guy. But, bear in mind that I stand on neutral ground and don't belong to any clique or get caught up in the soap operas that infest the hobby of classic arcade gaming. However, I have read posts online and heard some things that would support your comments. And that's all I have to say about that. Your neutrality is completely understandable. You should have seen the posse he came here with (my house). I had to have my G/F's daughter stay in her room. I am completely serious about that. They were leering at her like high school kids. The gaming cliques (even here in Portland) are amazingly obnoxious. I do admit that I hang with the Star Wars guy, but this Ken House actually has a fairly large following. Remember all those guys that worshipped Billy in 'King of Kong'? Sorta like that.

Since I only collect 2600 carts. I buy a C.I.B. and a loose so I can play it. Of course that is not always an option, but it is what I try to do.

I came here just to confirm that this is a Heavy Sixer. So is it? No, I don't think it is. Sorry, but thanks for playing.

Finally found it: Atari 2600 sneaks! Thanks for that link also. I am going to hit E-Bay and see if I can get a cheap pair. I actually like them.

New news to me. I have never heard of these shoes, thanks for the link.

Do you have a link so we can avoid this seller? ....3 days later and I would guess the answer to my question is no. But thanks for asking. -
Saw this and threw up in my mouth a little...

they are technically illegal to sell. the manufacturers are chinese bootleggers, the idea that they would have contacted every single manufacturer and gotten licensed games from namco, nintendo, atari, and still be able to sell the boards for a hundred bones, in direct competition with the copyright owners arcade games which still sell new for thousands of dollars and only include 2 or 3 games, is laughable. the copyright owners are not selling the right to use roms in these boards. 60 in 1 boards are chinese made bootlegs running pirated roms on an embedded MAME board. even if the roms were licensed by some miracle, the mame license clearly states that it is not for commercial use, if it were it would put them on very precarious legal standing. have you seen the instruction manual for one of these boards? the chinglish is hilarious and there is no mention of copyright of course. the 60-in-1 boards contain stolen intellectual property. they are neither licensed by the manufacturers or mame and are not technically legal to sell, at all. you cannot sell any mame based product legally, period. the 60-in-1 boards are derived from mame, and technically just as illegal to sell. these quotes are from a MAME developer: these were going for $359 with a 60-in-1 installed, and some of the copyright holders had a problem with that... http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=110413 namco currently is one of the companies enforcing their copyrights. here is the text of a recent ebay auction for a 48-in-1 they pulled: Great post. So are we not going to see the boards for sale anymore? Anywhere? -

It is the only R6 That I don't ever see on Ebay and when I do it goes for more than any other R6. Probably closer to an R8 than R7. This is the only R-6 that I do not have a piece of (manual, box, or loose cart.). I rarely ever see it on E-bay and I get bid out of the water every time. And why is it only a R-6? It should be a R-7 at least if not more.
