Yeah, $20-25 sounds about right. I have a few of these loose and w/o the box they are not worth much unfortunately.
-
There is no doubt that board is legit, one may argue about the contents of the EPROM, considering it is socketed.
As a collector, I really want this one. In your expert opinion, which I definitely trust, do you think this is legit? If Wonder is out I think I may have a fair chance to get this.
-
That is a really decent price. Minty fresh ones go for $3000 +. I came close to buying a beat up one (smoke smell, scuffed up, typical bar quality machine) for $2000 several years ago. I am curious about the "bad sensors", not sure what that is referring to.

I bid and got my ass handed to me, went for $278 !!

Looks good and the games title is probably the best in a LONG time.

Thanks Rmaerz, awesome memories. I like both the hosts, but I would have loved to have had the late great Richard Dawson hosting.

Well. Hell. Now. That. Sure. Makes. It. Easy.

I never played the rip-off that is Sinistar on anything other than the arcade version. What is the "void zone"? It must be after the 4th level as that is about as far as any gamer I know has ever reached.
-
Thanks Oldschool, I thought that was the way they did it, but was not sure. Anyone want to load a Powerpak or an Everdrive for me? Of course I will compensate for your efforts.
-
Track-n-Field takes the Hyper Sports board and other than the ones listed above... That is all that I know of.
-
Hey Jibbajaba,
I really want this or the powerpak, what I can't figure out (dense, I guess) is if either of them come fully loaded w/ all the games? Any help would be appreciated, and sorry to de-rail your topic A2600.

Good idea. Thanks for stopping by.

It might be a good idea to post your E-bay F.B. and any other forums that you belong to Feedback. Maybe a little about yourself also, otherwise I am pretty sure it will be tough to sell anything here.

He did not tell you they were repros.?
-
Thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna buy it.

Carts look in pretty good shape too
That was a pretty good deal you got there
. Congrats. -
Well too late
Got a Junior with 25 games (Pengo also which seems a bit rarer) 2 sticks and 2 paddles for $35 seems pretty good for an fleabay find, no one bidded so if it dies I won't be out to much, unit is tested though (at least claims to be). Will mod in a s-video. Still might be on the lookout for a 7800 and any game suggestions you all might have.
Got these with the lot:
Pengo
Freeway
Laser Blast
Pitfall
Robot Tank
Stampede
Circus
Football
Phoenix
Pole Position
Qbert
Frogger
Bowling
Speedway II
Codebreaker
Berzerk
Defender
Asteroids
Bowling
PacMan
Video Checkers
Super Challenge Football
Lock n' Chase
Familiar with most of them
Picked up a Yars Revenge (love that game) and might get a copy of Solaris and Atlantis also.
I did not see that lot come up. Got a link?

How can it be me if I never registered and never posted? All I’m saying is that I heard about that site somewhere a few years ago when I became interested in arcade games, thought it sounded like a cool forum, and promptly headed over there to check it out. After lurking for a few days, all I saw were pissing matches over trivial things, sarcastic/dismissive treatment of newcomers, obvious cliquey circles of “know-it-alls”, etc.. It’s like, there was this palpable and ubiquitous “code of ethics”—or dogma if you will—looming over the forum on how one must collect, treat, play, sell and talk about arcade games. If you do everything by that book, you’re golden; if not, look out.
Maybe I just happened to drop by at a bad time, but KLOV isn’t the only arcade-related site where I’ve seen such things.
It’s worth noting that I have three major hobbies in my life currently with others in my past, and I have frequented at least one internet forum for each of those hobbies, sometimes more, and the only forums I have ever felt the inclination to “walk away” from were related somehow to arcade stuff. Coincidence? Maybe, but I’m inclined to doubt it.
I admit my comment might have been a bit harsh and might have unfairly painted a large community with a broad brush, but as with most communities, the bad apples are always the ones that leave an impression. I apologize if you were personally offended by what I said, but I’m not just making things up for the good of my health; I’m giving you a candid outsider’s impression of the vibe I got there and elsewhere.
I can’t believe you would even compare AtariAge to KLOV in this way. Of all the forums I have frequented in the last 10 years, this one is hands down the most laid back, welcoming, and affable of them all.
I have seen a few pissing matches, but Maclemore (however you spell it) keeps a pretty good forum as far as I can tell. The comparing of the 2 forums is just my opinion, they are both great and serve to fuel my 2 hobbies (arcade machines and the 2600). Anyway, give it another chance if you are still interested in the hobby. I will vouch for you if you need it.

Why am I not surprised you need to be "vouched for" at that forum...
Seriously, what is it with arcade collectors? A few years ago I made the mistake of lurking a bit over at KLOV, naively thinking it might be a cool place to just talk about old arcade games with fellow affable nerd-types. Needless to say, I was disappointed to find that the community comes across as a bunch of dogmatic assholes in the worst good-ol-boys club the internet has ever seen. I never thought I'd actually feel a sense of relief that arcade collecting doesn't interest me, but my lasting impression of KLOV is exactly that.
Where the hell did that come from? I have been a member there for years and have no clue why you would post that. Give me an example of where we come off as "dogmatic assholes" or "the worst good-ol-boys club the internet has ever seen". Maybe it's just you???? I have seen harsher treatment here than on KLOV. Even new guys get straight forward no-B.S. answers to their questions no matter how silly the question is.
EDIT: I have vouched for 3 members here and they are as far as I can tell, are doing well on KLOV.

I can plow through this game like it's nothing, but if you'd believe it, I've never been able to get the turtle stomping trick to work. Not that I've tried really hard to do it or anything, but I have tried occasionally.. with no luck whatsoever.Yeah, me either. I have seen quite a few vids. of people doing it, but to this day I am unable to do it. I am going to try again tonight.

Well, I am trading my Liberator for this:
http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9787
I loved this game after playing it at Keith's (Kmitchie24 - KLOV) and now it looks like I am going to own it! This is going to look nice next to my Video Pinball
Here is a video showing the gameplay too. Cool light up buttons. Great party game ! Getting it tomorrow. Can't wait.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...33559683671677
All of Keith's games are like new and this one is no exception. A near pristine version of this old Atari black and white.
I still want that Video Pinball!!!!
-
Have you guys ever seen one of these?
This is in the back of the Pinball Hall of Fame. It's a beautiful cabinet.

Never seen this one before, probably some sort of late model licensing bought by Sega.
*EDIT* the fire buttons array looks like a nightmare. I will stick to my 'ol U.S. version.

No. This was several months ago on the Goodwill site. I was fortunate Guardian was mixed with multiple other boxed games and not specifically mentioned in the listing. If it weren't for one other person I would have snagged it for probably $50.
Does the Goodwill site have an alert system? For example, if I want Air Raid, is it possible to get them to e-mail you when Air Raid appears on their website? Any input would be great.

Good/RARE stuff, or just random oddities here? (pick-up from flea market)
