I am not an expert, but I have done many a repair to my cabs. and pins. I would definitely lean toward your power supply. Check the voltage coming out to specific points on your board(s). Go to KLOV to get the schematics and where to check for voltage on the board and how much voltage is good/bad. Or start a new thread on the KLOV boards and get some REALLY good advice, the folks at KLOV helped me get my Baby Pac machine in mint condition for Ground Kontrol.

I think me and Sprybug have the "honor" of testing our own games for hours. It's not work but it's not exactly play either
Especially when you find an unexpected bug
@Dragon Princess Yushira
Try Stranglehand if you like Kaboom!
I don't get it. Question was "games you could play for hours?".
-
Adventure of course, and Dragonstomper.
-
I have seen this "HES" used before. Can someone tell me what it means? I did a google and Bing and Yahoo search and I am still no closer to the meaning of "HES".

If you like the price and what's offered, you should buy it soon. Doesn't E-Bay usually pull these?
-
Around $40-$50 in VG/EX condition, a bit less if the box is a beater.
Good luck on that price for a mint boxed H.E.R.O. For a minty fresh I would think that you are going to pay between $70-$90 easily. When a mint boxed mint H.E.R.O. sells for $40, I will buy it every time.

Thank you, I do not remember seeing him. Hopefully he will have time to be there next year.

Is there a pic. of Wonder? I sure would have liked to meet him, so many questions......

I'm going for my own record...most Shatner-altered photos in AA history! Can I submit that one to Twin Galaxies?

I don't know, but you would at the very least be in the top three..... and keep them coming. I also hope that Rmaerz does some more vids. The videos are great.

He had a thread here a few days ago. He was an unpleasant fellow and I guess Al banned him and deleted the thread. I would sure like to see what got him banned.

Yep, I can personally attest to the no one caring about getting high scores on 30 year old video games. In fact I think when I have put that on my job resume it actually HURTS me from getting a job, and so when applying for a job I usually leave something like that off. Yeah, I do believe his video game scores are mostly real. Remember he was a professional video game player back in the day. He would be paid to exhibit his skills in public. I don't think they would pay someone if all their scores were illegitimate.
Breaking his Galaxian record on the Atari 2600 was definitely one of my proudest moments as a gamer. When I first started out I didn't really think I could break his record, but after about 2 months I did it. One thing probably needs to be noted. Atari 2600 games are for the most part easier than their Arcade counterparts. For instance I can't get more than 50k on the MAME version of Galaxian. That game is definitely much, much harder.
I one time had a online conversation with him about the Galaxian score. I asked if he died on his last man or if he just quit the game. He told me he just quit the game. I told him, I thought so , and that is why I doubled your score. He never accepted my friend request on Facebook after I told him that. LOL
Are you saying that you are the record holder for Atari 2600 Galaxian?

Let's face it guys...I hate to say it, but the dude currently lives in a trailer park with his pet tarantulas (according to one of those 80's video game documentaries). That is what all of the bogus high score glory got him.
Maybe if he was telling the truth, and he was really a video game prodigy, insane videos of his marathon game sessions would exist. If so, his legendary status may have taken him further, but somehow I doubt it. For most of us, a high score is something to be introspectively happy about or to have some boasting rights amongst friends. It's not like anyone out there is currently hiring based on your 80's video game skills...

Do you have any links to any vids. on him? I have looked around a bit and only found a couple of things on youtube.

Hi dragon Stomper, I am located in Ohio so a little bit off from your location. if want to pay for shipping then go ahead. after some research I found its worth about 500 on ebay in the fair condition its at. I would probly sell it for 350 or 400 since the 2nd player button is sticky. even tho that's a cheap fix. and also the grafix on the side are there and visable but not perfect so that's where the price is going be. Also if pay for shipping then I will do 300. IM sure its gonna cost a ton to ship it.
Thank you for the offer and if I lived within 500 miles of you, I would take you up on that $300 machine in a second. I only buy cabs. that I can see first, so good luck on your sale. Advertise in craigslist and I am pretty sure it will sell quick for $300.

If some of his records are proven to be false then why would any of them be accepted without proof of their legitimacy?
I think it is because T.G. was biased to certain players like Mitchell and Rogers. I am not bragging when I say I am good at video games, and I can't come close to most of Roger's scores that I have tried to beat. I guess some folks have zero integrity. I would not be surprised if all of Todd's scores were phony.

Hey guys just thought I would share my Game I have its Mario bros for arcade. I was told its in fair condition, only the 2nd player sticks and the guy continues to run thro the worlds. Other then that it works fine. Any guesses on what its worth or any place to sell it. Im not such a fan of ebay. I got it for free and I love it just don't have the room for it and will be moving down the road so its just kinda sitting in my basement rotting away. would like to see someone else Enjoy it
Where are you located? I am in Warren, OR. and I would like to buy the cab.
-
Oh cool I had no idea, all the ones I googled on it seem to be the same as mine, some are other colors but I did find others same exact as mine. it still has the Mario artwork across the top so I assumed that was always there. maybe im wrong on that.
Yes, that is an original cab. I can think of 3 different cabs. just off the top of my head. The blue, the orange, and the play choice. I think their is more, but not positive.

Just upgraded the forum to a new version. There won't be many noticeable differences, although some elements have seen extensive work, such as the editor. I've currently disabled the third-party skins that were installed, until I have a chance to upgrade them later today. I also purchased two new skins that I'll be installing as well.
There are a few other things I need to tweak. If you see anything odd, or especially if you see any errors, please let me know and I'll work to fix them right away.
Thanks,
..Al
Hey Al,
I just wanted to say thanks for the good work.
