I for one admit I am a wee bit jealous, but I am happy for him and his find. It gives me hope that I will score one of these 'In the wild'.I think some people are jealous that they haven't had a holy grail score in the wild. I always wish one day I'll find the ultra rare. I've gotten a good share of rare items over the years, but I'm also a big collector and have been doing it for 18 years since I started buying Atari again. Great job finding this.

Kinda like.... Billy Mitchell and good 'ol ToAd Rogers.Billy Mitchell mentioned this specifically at the Panel at Game Warp last week. Apparently there were a lot of people just making up stuff back in the day as it was hard to prove otherwise and people generally just took their word for it. I guess if you could say 'hey i did xxx on this game' and get calls from the president.. well that was too tempting for some people to pass up.
It's pretty obvious that many claims made back then turned out to be bogus.

What a true piece of crap. I think a few civil lawsuits are being filed tomorrow.

I will buy this lot, PM'ed.

Atariage.... lol. I do hope someone has some good Intellivision stuff this year. I am also hoping for some good Nintendo stuff this year, every single year so far has been lacking good rare Nintendo stuff that I need to help complete a few collections.****cough***whataboutintellivision****cough***

Will you have 'Princess Rescue' on tap? Thanks, Chuck.AtariAge will have a large booth at the upcoming Portland Retro Gaming Expo, and I'd like to showcase new homebrew games for the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Jaguar and Atari 8-bit computers. At this year's show I plan on having a dedicated system and display for each game setup for demo. I'll create a "prototype" cartridge for each game, and a display placard that briefly describes the game.
If you have a game you've been working on and it'll be in a state where it can be demoed at the show, please let me know!
Thanks!

There was never a Sears at Beaverton Mall. You might be talking about the Emporium, but they did not have an arcade at all. The only games at Beaverton mall were of course at the Electric Palace, and the old Beaverton skating rink, and the few games they had @ the main front entrance to the mall (right next to the Candy Shoppe and the haircut place that eventually turned into Supercuts) that is now Best Buy.Yeah, Sears either HAD one or there was one just outside of Sears at the old Beaverton Mall (now Cedar Hills Crossing) near my house. I remember seeing the extremely rare Digger (Gremlin/Sega) which was a ripoff of an older Japanese game called Heiyanko Alien. I miss the big fountains in the mall, and tossing coins for good luck as a little (gullible) kid.

I have never seen this one, thanks for the link.

I like that sellers can't give neg. F.B. anymore. I buy and sell on E-bay often and have not been blessed with an asshole buyer yet. I do remember on quite a few occasions that P.O.S. sellers holding my F.B. hostage. Honestly there is no way to win, but I definitely side on the buyers.Yup, I was able to post a retort, which helps some. At least that enabled me to get the truth out there.
It definitely is not fair that sellers can no longer post negative feedback. We used to be able to. Don't know why eBay changed it, but I don't like it.
I've reported this person twice now--once for backing out and once for the negative feedback--but I doubt any action will be taken. What I'd like to know is what happened to seller protection.
Thank you so much for your supportive comments!

Yeah, I mentioned this, E-bay I.D. is a great thing to mention on the 'bad trader' alert. That way everyone knows who is a potential bad trader. That's why I asked his E-bay I.D.Glad to hear it was resolved. Was this a US buyer? I agree with toptenmaterial that giving out his user ID would be a public service.

It means I asked that question and no answer, Topten asked the question after me and you responded. What does that mean ? (sorry, my first language is not English)

This game is a piece of junk, and it is no way, shape, or form a game that you can master, marathon, or otherwise play for any amount of time. I used to have the cockpit version of this game and I played the heck out of it. I was hoping to be able to marathon it, but alas, no way no how. This is one of the very few games (1978-1985) that I have zero advice as on how to play. There is absolutely little to no strategy involved and it is all luck. I believe this game might be unique in this. Read the forums on KLOV.com on this and maybe you can get some strategic advice. I can tell you first hand though, that this is truly a game of luck. And on that note, GOOD LUCK.

Why didn't I think of that question, lol.His user ID is dragoduby. He wasn't active since Nov 21st 2012. His rating is 100%...

More info would be nice... like E-Pay I.D. e-mails, etc.Hi there,
I need a advice.
I sold recently an item on eBay.com for $565. I sent it with a tracking number. I know the parcel was delivered (cause the tracking told me that) there are few weeks ago BUT yesterday, I received an email from eBay telling me the buyer opened a case 'cause he didn't receive the item. I know he lied 'cause there is a tracking number. My money is frozen in my Paypal account now. The buyer never wrote me and for your information, I did have to wait few days to be paid (I opened a case to be paid actually). There are no movement for one year in his eBay account (but he has more than 200).
Will he be refund even the tracking number ??
Thanks a lot.

Yes, I would like to find out which one is better before I buy also. Can we expand this discussion into a debate about the Powepak vs. the Everdrive-NES?
I have the Powerpak, and it's pretty great. That's not to say that the Everdrive-NES isn't great too, or perhaps even better. I wouldn't mind hearing that it's better. It's still kind of difficult to get one, and Stoneagegamer (the place you *really* want to get one from) isn't offering a "Deluxe" (what you *really want*) set, yet. Patience is always a virtue.
But for those who are familiar with both, please make we want an Everdrive-NES, since someone has already claimed its superiority, but has not specified the reasons for such. I am all ears, as is the orginal poster of this topic, and probably a gaggle of spectators, as well.

Can you please hook me up? I am going into withdrawals here.........I was just talking to a guy yesterday who says everdrive is WAY better than the powerpak.
-
BUMP!!!! Or as Wood JL has suggested the Everdrive.

Great song.

Yep, my point exactly and yours too!LMAO it was suppose to be a joke. Generally you have to make a trade to be a bad trader?

Post that video.I dunno, I made it over the hurdle at 50m (in my own way) before I got bored and killed that guy off.
It certainly wasn't any fun--it's a class of game where the entire difficulty curve comes from fighting with the stupid controls. Guitar Hero hits the same mark to some degree, but adds speed reading to the mix (which is also no fun).
