A seller was using the original auction photo of the box lineup to sell an Atari on Kijiji Ottawa. The listing was taken down. Buyer beware. 03/18/2016

Are the red labels getting harder to find? I may have to rethink my collecting strategy as I am only going after Reds these days.

It is Japanese script. Although I am not that good at reading it.

I have to weigh in on the Canada to US shipping issue. I have been selling on epay since 1998 and shipped internationally for most of my auctions. In the last few years the Canadian postal system has dropped significantly in the quality and speed of their service. I have had guaranteed overnight packages that arrive 4 to 5 days late. Regular 5 to 8 day airmail to the states that could take up to 6 weeks. I usually advise my buyers that Canada Post is slow.

Atari Coleco Gemini Video Game System - Dual Command Controllers - 5 Games
auction has best offer option
The Gemini is one of my fav systems. I am wary of buying another due to 99% have controller port issues. The last 2 I bought online have that issue. Reflowing the solder doesn't always fix it.

The cashing in phase has officially hit a new high with this auction.

We have them in Canada as well.
"Hi i am a video game collector an if anyone had any video games or Consoles they would be willing to donate Like Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Sony, Microsoft, Panasonic 3DO, Phillips Cd-i, Coleco Vision, Intellivision, Neo-Geo, Magnavox Odyssey 1 and 2, Turbo Grafix 16, Vectrex, PC, Macintosh and old computers and monitors Like Commodore 64, Vic 20, Atari, Sinclair, Amiga or anything else."

Thanks nanochess. That was pretty unexpected. I figured it might hit around $50. At least that gives an example of a recent sale for future reference.

That is not a good policy for bidders with short attention spans like myself. I have had a few purchases go awry when shipping was prearranged and the seller went back on their word and billed the original rate and import fees as well. Nothing like having UPS demand $40 on top of something you already paid for. I look at shipping and import fees as an indication of how my transaction will go. Those red flags turn me off of an item and I immediately go elsewhere.

OMG! Multiple $1 auctions http://www.ebay.com/sch/johnsgirl2/m.html?item=151294429649&hash=item2339d9c9d1&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
*drools* I think I would buy every CIB!
I had to restrain myself because lack of space
Someone take this!
What does shipping look like for you all in the US? In Canada all the auctions are set at $100 shipping, therefore I am out.

Thanks for all the info. I might be sad to see it go now. 7 hours and a bit to go

-
Does anyone have an example of this in PAL format? Was it strictly an NTSC release?
-
I wasn't so sure about the R320. I wasn't able to find any info on it at all. I believe I got it in trade from someone on AA for some odd Canadian box Colecovision games.
It was one of my favourites as far as multi-carts go.
We played it a bit before I bought the Harmony cart. At one point I was running multi-cart in all my systems being too lazy to walk 3 feet to my game shelf.
Shipping to the US would be between $8 and $10. If I wanted to ship it back to myself it would cost me $9. Canada Post rates are insane.
-
…am I missing something here? And what's with the $75 shipping price?
I am seeing a whopping $83.17 for shipping AND $19.10 for the import fee. But then I am in Canada and we like to (illegally) charge citizens with import brokerage fees.......just ask Purolator and UPS, they do it all the time.

Greetings,
I am listing a few more interesting carts on eBay. Just paring down the collection to a few star games I love to play. My Harmony cart has pretty much curbed my collecting urge.
I expect eBlahh will pull my multi-carts at some point. It's hit or miss with these type of carts. Although they are especially hard on NES and Famicom pirates.

Hottest game in the land! Don't click if you are sick of staring at his giant eyeballs and glowing finger.
I am charging an exorbitant price to take advantage of all the free press.

You might notice I have other auctions up with some animation art and such. I pulled out a box of old artwork that has been stored for a few years. Take a look if that type of thing interests you. We don't do anything on paper anymore....but my Cintiq is almost as good as drawing on paper.
Thanks for looking!

Greetings all,
I am paring down my collection quite a bit. Only keeping the stuff I actually play or have space to display.
I posted the Atari 2600 Activision Spider Fighter store display card for auction. It is drawn by cartoonist Gahan Wilson. You may remember his Nuts cartoon from National Lampoon. I do enjoy his work, but not enough to keep it around.
On a side note when I worked at Nelvana in 2001 they had optioned Nuts for an animated series. There was a huge binder filled with his cartoons and artwork, along with character designs and stuff. Sadly as many Nelvana projects go it was shelved.
The card is thick board, some wear and small Acti-plaque along the bottom. The spider heads fold out a bit. Stand folds out in the back. Approximately 9" x 14"

The Zellers carts are in great shape, with the exception of Frontline (Shell damaged, plays fine),

Auction ended at $100.55. Not bad considering the initial investment of a few bucks.. Thanks for participating.

Easter Sunday BUMP!
Only 8 hours or so to go on this one. Thanks for your interest.
The rest of the day will be spent in the kitchen as I must feed the troops after a hard day of COD!

This was an interesting one. I posted about Laura Scholl and her career on the Fbook group.
Laura Scholl
Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Digital Art Newman University.
Her story is much more interesting to me than the carts themselves. Graphic design/Computer graphics, art direction on movies. Plus we see some history on someone that we may not have if these carts didn't surface. It would have been nice to see the inside of the carts or the gameplay. Maybe the buyer will be in the community and can shed some light on them.

They went for a bit more than I thought. I figured $600 maybe 800.
