  1. Sounds cool! I am looking for examples from SA companies. Not so much the whole lot, but I'm interested in really weird ones. I have some Applevision's and unknown carts, as well as a Taiwan Spaceboy cart. I'm not too picky, so any cart will do!
  2. Games tested and played...all working fine. Pitfall II cart had to be disassembled and cleaned. It was covered with tape, whiteout and wood held the pcb in place. The systems work great, joypads need some cleaning. I am waiting on the striking postal workers up here in Canada to get back to work. I will then accept offers on the games! Thanks!
  3. I am going to test and play the games, but I will keep you posted. (Sale wise that is.) I was really only looking for Atari stuff, so this was a surprise. I checked a local classified ad that posted some yard sale items, including the Coleco stuff.
  4. Greetings, Found some interesting Colecovision items in my travels this week. I usually collect Atari stuff, so I hoped the owner had some loose carts as they had a Colecovision/Atari adapter. Two working Colecovisions, all items with it. Cords still wrapped, a little attic dirt, but o/w in good shape. I'll have to find an older tv to fire them up. I'd like to hook one up to my plasma tv. Not sure of the rarity if some of these. Games CIB: Colecovision Popeye, Cabbage Patch Kid's Advs in the Park, Miner 2049er, Mr Do's Castle, Jumpman Junior, DK JR, Roc'n Rope, BC Grog's Revenge, BC Quest for Tires, Smurf's Rescue Gargamel, Sewer Sam, Pitfall II, Defender. Atari CIB Berzerk, Ms. Pacman, Astroblast Loose carts Pepper II, DK, Zaxxon I haven't tried any of the carts, but looking forward to playing Quest for Tires!
  5. Trading or selling a Nokia Ngage 1st Gen with cords, etc. 1 sealed Sims game and a 512 mmc card. The outer shell needs to be replaced as it is cracked across the screen and a little rough. The battery may or may not hold a charge for long. I was using it to play games. Works well. Will trade for interesting Atari carts or best offer. SOLD
  6. A very neat place...I only wish I had more time to hang out there....my boys tried out as many computers as the could. And I thought we had lots of old pc and game junk at my house! I remember trying to program on the PET computers way back when. I did the usual Space Invaders to pass the Grade 9 computer class. The ICON was my favourite since I was able to "draw" comic strips and try to print them out during class. Since all the ICONs were linked via a server you could shut down a friends workstation from different labs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unisys_ICON
  7. I made a trip to the PC Museum in Brantford, ON. Here is a pic of some of the Atari stuff I picked up....there were some Mattel games there also, but since I dislike the design of the games I left them for someone else. 3 sealed games Vanguard, Venture and Decathalon. Empty boxes with instructions. Not the most rare items, but will pad out my loose cart collection. Atlantis, Asteroids, Crossbow, Venture, Video Olympics, Video Pinbal, Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Vanguard, Freeway, Baseball, Centipede, Fishing Derby, Encounter at L-5, Towering Inferno, Warlords, Missile Command, and two sucky M-network boxes. The Venture Coleco box has a French label sticker unapplied....I assume this was for th Canadian bilingual market. The Museum itself is a pretty interesting place, they have tons of old PC's set up to play on. I got to play Space Invaders on a Commodore Pet, Just like High School. Unfortunately the Icon wasn't up and running. Also picked up Super Bonk SNES for 60 cents, Ghost Recon, Desert Storm, The Sum of All Fears Gamecube for $1 and Destroy All Humans for $5. http://www.pcmuseum.ca/index.asp
  8. I found 4 Intellivision Donkey Kongs today, sealed in great shape considering. Has a sticker on them stating "Will not work with Intellivison II". Not sure of the interest in these, I sold off all of my INTV stuff years ago. I'm not really interested in selling them on eBay. I'll trade off 3 of them for interesting Atari carts loose or boxed. One of them I am framing for one of my sons who is a Donkey Kong nut. I did the same for another of my sons with NES Legend of Zelda, which he proudly display on his wall! For those curious about me as I am fairly new to the board, well my account is......I used to be on the board years ago under a different name, but stopped collecting. FBook page My Ebay page Website
  9. Greetings, Having some trouble uploading the files. The cbr and my pdf conversions are too large to post (27MB for Star Raiders and 42MB for Warlords). I am posting the torrent link I found for all of the DC GN's. http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5249009/DC_Comics_Graphic_Novels
  10. I can search my stuff to find the .cbr or .pdf of the Atari Graphic novels if anyone wants.
  11. Recently I came across some stuff that I had packed away for years. A letter from DC and a copy of the Star Raiders graphic novel. I found a copy of the magazine I won the graphic novel from at a local comics shop about 2 weeks ago, which spurred me to write up this update from my blog. In 1983 I was dreaming about the comics I could only read about in Comics Scene magazine. It was the first magazine I had seen that covered comic books in such depth and seriousness as a “real” magazine. I discovered a lot of the comics and artists that I have enjoyed and have influenced my own work through this magazine. 1983 for me was comics, video games, motorbikes and girls! I wanted to include beer in that list, but at 14 I was not a connoisseur of fine brewskis yet...that was 1985! I had entered the Comics Scene First annual reader`s poll on a whim, not knowing that the First annual reader`s poll would be the last. Issue 11 of Comics Scene was the last, and without any idea when it would reappear I quickly forgot about it. To my surprise, about a year later the letter and Star Raider graphic novel appeared in my mailbox and has survived 28 years (and 2 comic book collection purges and one Atari collection purge). The text of the contest reads: `` The editors of Comics Scene are wondering about you. What do you like about this magazine and comics in general. We`ve assembled this poll to discover the answers. Our friends and DC Comics have provided some goodies to help encourage you to respond. Check off the appropriate box and you`ll automatically be entered in a drawing for prizes: six copies of the Star Raider`s graphic novel, a dozen subscriptions to their newest title, Thriller and several surprise goodie packages.`` I have never heard of or seen any material on the other winners, or the surprise goodie packages.
  12. I'm on the lookout for foreign/South American carts and pirate eproms. I have a couple of examples of SA carts and a nice homemade pirate eprom cart with exchangable eproms. They don't have to be spectacular, just commons are fine.
  13. Cool. Dragons Treasure is my favorite of the ones I have. To me the name suggest you are stealing the treasure from the dragon, which is a complete reversal in the story of Dragon Fire. Welcome to AtariAge by the way. If you are into classic gaming you will love this place, and if you aren't into classic gaming you will be soon. We have that effect on people. Thanks! I had an account years ago, but lost/forgot it. I had a huge Atari collection and sold it all off in the mid-90's. My wife actually found a box of stuff for free that got me started again. Funny thing....the box had the Starpath Supercharger and some of the cassettes/instructions as well as some R5 carts....and Zellers carts too. I'm on the lookout for foreign/South American carts and pirate eproms. I have a couple of examples of SA carts and a nice homemade pirate eprom cart with exchangable eproms.

Photoshopping layouts for new animated show.....tedious yet fun!

  15. Zellers carts turn up often in Southern Ontario. I have picked up various carts for between $3 and $7 at local flea markets. Dragon Treasure seems to be the most common.
