Not a new score, but wanted to share: I made my son sit through a bit of Atari's Asteroids for the VCS before I let him play Space Rocks this week, talked a bit again about the technical limitations of the system, bank switching, etc. Then I popped in Space Rocks, and let him loose. He hadn't shown much interest when he saw me playing it before, but now that he can see how much work went into it, he definitely appreciated the game more, and had himself some fun. Thanks again, Spiceware! Just don't start woodworking, too, or I won't be able to feel special anymore...

Score post for RAINBOW KITTY 4,810 in Dig Dug She still can't post to the forums, and she's too embarrassed by her score to post a photo. I'm still trying to get her to play Space Rocks, but she's just not into it this week.

Had to rebuild and mount a Space Invader: & Fixed and mounted my Berzerk robot and his 'pew pew': And built wholly within the week, just needs some paint tonight, the infamous ET: Won't help my $hite $cores, but maybe I can get some Geek Cred bonus points?

I've been busy building some custom shelving for my carts [will post picks later when my son is off the desktop] Updated scores for both games: Space Rocks: 38,030 Dig Dug: 45,670 I might be able to score higher in Space Rocks than Dig Dug?!? Wow. Guess I know where to concentrate my time these last days of the games...

Bonus Pick: STARFIRE radar [Homebrew] by XYPE Radar is like the game: efficient for blowing things up.

If memory serves, that's the "file too large" error. My camera files are always too large to upload, so I have to open a photo editing program and reduce their size by 50% before I can post any images to these forums.

1000 point bump on CSN, I mean CNS 183,400 Not sure if this keeps me in the Top 5...

First stabs: Dig Dug: 36.440 -this one should go up with practice. Never been a huge fan of this iteration, though it is pretty respectable. I don't know why, the the rock/squares bother me more than they should, especially considering the other arcade adaptions/bastardizations I don't blink an eye at. Space Rocks: 17,110 -also should go up with practice. Atari's version was always flawed, and rollable by anyone with the patience. I've admired Spiceware's work in the past, but this is visually and mechanically gorgeous [still waiting to see the final version of Frantic, and now Draconian, though!]. I foresee that the rest of you will rock my space on this one...

First damned time I've ever saved the girl in any version of this game... and she gets herself kidnapped again? Does she have a hot twin? ...makes me miss the infamous Toad misdirection of NES fame... I am so done with this one [still a favorite of the latter day games, though]

Still only up to 79,260 on the main game. Never knew before this go around that Kung Fu Master was supposedly based on an old Jackie Chan movie... I'll never look at his white pajamas the same! Lightning Magician keeps getting me. Plus, I'm super frustrated that I can't get back to my 120K groove...

Finally played this week: ouch! 58,800 on Kung Fu Master?!? the heck is wrong with me this week? 76,600 on Chuck Norris Superkicks... Chuck SUCKS at punching. Also, "Argh! Grass, my old foe, me meet again! The one thing I can't kick down!" Probably the longest I've ever played this game.

Yeah, I've done the email confirmation multiple times now... [sigh] guess I'll have to bother the admin email... And yes, she prefered looking at it to playing it this week, but seems to be digging Kung Fu Master!

Personal best: 162,050 [no 9's, though] Switched to the ol' Slik Stik for some low-resistance action... in fact, I think my Stik is slightly broken, but works for this. Probably will move on now that I broke past my litle goal here.
