Not as good at tracking my score while I play as the Captain, there.
Also, never going to try this on keyboard again, or I'm going to break my f*lippin* keyboard!

Love the original, was just playing it a few weeks ago at The Arcade in Brighton, MI. This port looks fantastic, great job!

Just noticed your picture. Looks like a nice clean screen image you've got there, without the weird vertical coloring banding I get with my S-Video mod'ed 4-switch Woody. What machine are you playing with, what's your connection running through, original or mod, etc etc? Inquiring minds want to know...

Well, 44,700 is at least improvement for the day.
47,910 and I'm calling it for Saturday night.
Hopefully I can crack 50K tomorrow, and get on the bonus board. I can reliably get 5 in reserve, but haven't yet gotten that 6th reserve plane allowing me to crash and photo-op @ 5.

After beating a certain number of waves, did I just turn into a CASTLE? Did I win? That was confusing.
I dig the color changes to mark the waves, but I do think more variety in the enemies will go a long way in terms of player perception of the game.

atari2600.com is an excellent place to buy carts and manuels. fast delivery too! excellent website with everything organized alphabetically.
Used to buy a bit from them, even my S-video mod'ed VCS when my childhood console broke, but my last order has been a bit of a nightmare: 20 days to ship, 20 days with no response to repeated inquiries. No explanation offered, either. Hopefully, it'll actually show up now that I finally have a tracking #.

Last post before deadline, I think.
Despite having the cart since 1989 or so [bought at the old Dartmouth Bookstore in NH], I'm forced to emulate as my wife is watching Thor 2 on the TV.
Anyways, finally cleared the board and got to school with 1:06 to spare.
I know I could've done better this week, especially on this game, if I'd been playing for longer than this weekend... but oh well, at least I'm on the board!

Those annoying lines are part of the TV image, not in the camera. So. Either my S-video mod is bad, or there's something happening inside my HDTV when it interprets the analog signal... Looks like yours is hooked to a CRT, so I guess I won't know where my problem resides until I get my hands on a CRT again and plug it in.
