The system and joystick looks very slick, and cool. Does anybody have a picture of the Intellivision 4. It's too bad they didn't release this back in the day. It would of blew the Colecovision away. If you do make this system , which i hope you do. What games were you thinking about . Maybe Gridshock.? How long would you think it would take to build the system . Intv Corp should had release this instead of the intv system 3 AND THE SUPER PRO system.

You are probably right. I don't know much about the Sega Sms. But Atari didn't really support or marketed the 5200 well. It could had better success and a longer life, if so. They should have marketed in Europe and had more third party developers. Atari should have relaunched the 5200 and games after the crash. It would had a longer life and more games in it's library. Atari also should of released the 7800 in 84 in the U.S AND Canada, and the 5200 in Europe and more in Canada in 84. It would had a wider appeal and probably and more support

I think it would be worth exploring more. It is a good idea , and there is a lot of Intellivision fans out there.But it does need new games with it , and possible a built in Intellivoice to go along with it. Possible compatible with the old games as well. I think it will sell well, here in the U.S, Canada and Europe. Or Develop a Intellivoice 2 system , with new games. Could be a start. Maybe Contact Mattel and tell them to get on board of the retro train. Everything is going back retro now.It will be a good time to do it. We can hope and dream.

How about a Intellivision and a Atari 5200 version also. Put me down for a complete in a box for the 2600

I love all Imagic games on the Intv. You may want to try Tropical trouble also. Is like a sequel to Beauty and the beast. Swords n serpents and Dragonfire also kicks butt.

Awesome story. Great details. My quick story. was my first handheld was the Mattel electronics Football, then a year or 2 later i recieved the Football 2 . This was back in late 70's early 80's. Played the death out of both of the them and still have then and both still works. My first Intv experience was, back in 81, my friend had a Intv. We played poker and blackjack. I loved the system. In christmas of 81, i got the atari 2600. I still have it. In 83 , i got the Intellivision 2 , with bugertime and astrosmash.Still have it and works.. Loved them both. Fond memories of the 1st dungeons and dragons, back thenand now.. In 84 i receieved the Atari 5200. Still have itand works.

True, when they release the intv system 3 and some games in 85 thru 87, they were doing mail orders and have the intv stock in some toy and dept stores.

The looks of it, it is a very complex game with 5 players on each side. To bad it wasn't completed. It would of made a heck of a good seller on the Ecs. World series baseball, i have that one too, Cmart. That is a awesome and a complex game. I wonder if that if finished if it needed the intellivoice also. Maybe someday, someone can complete it and release it on cart.? We can dream.

After Mattel dismissal in 84, when INTV Corp took over. Why didn't Activision and other third party games support the Intv in the late 80's, when Intv was still making some kick butt games. Some still supported the Atari 2600, at the time . Activison has some left over prototypes they could of finished and released with some Imagic games, for the INTV. What do you think.?

I GO with the 3200 atari style look. That's cool, it is going to be 2600/7800 compatible, plus new games for it. What about a system changer or adapter to play the 5200 games as well.

I have seen some screenshots to this game. Really awesome. Was this game unfinished and incomplete. Are there is a complete finished game out there. Any info being on cart some day.

I heard and recently, saw the screenshots of this game, for the Intellivoice. This would been a awesome Ad&D game. I t looks very cool. In my opinion this game should have been completed and released first by Mattel, before the other games. Any info on this game every going to completed and released on cart in the future.
