  4. Exactly. Get 2 seperate accounts. One for buying, one for selling. It's always fun to see the look on a sellers face when they hit you with a retaliatory negative feedback and you refuse to mutually withdraw it. I had one seller beg me several times to do this. That last incident was the best. I ask the seller why he charged about 2 times the actual shipping costs. They guy immediately hits me with negative feedback. I ask why? He says "yeah, you are probably going to neg me, so that's why i already gave you negative feedback. I do that with everybody that negs me". At that point i'm certainly not satisfied with the transaction anymore, so i give the guy a negative feedback explaining what happened. 5 minutes later i get an email about mutually withdrawing the negative feedbacks. He says that's why he always returns the negative feedback, so that both seller and buyer can withdraw it and neither of us will look bad. At that point i refuse to withdraw. The guy goes totally nuts, he wants that negative removed and "why can't i cooperate. That's how the feedback system is supposed to work. etc. etc. etc.". I explain to him that he's just being an jerk, and that a negative for a seller carries more weight than a negative for a buyer and that i have no intention to withdraw my feedback because i want everybody to know what kind of person he was...
  5. BTW that picture on the cart looks awfully familiar. Isn't that the cover of some Amiga/C64 racing game?
  6. River Raid 2 is an Activision game. This is how proto's from that company usually look like: http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/kabobber/72583.htm So no, you still haven't convinced me
  7. I sincerely doubt these are proto's (actually i'm almost 100% sure that they are not). They look like carts where the label went bad and one of the previous owners just put a blank label on it and wrote the name on it by himself.
  8. Well, that's hard to say if we don't know how much you paid for them. I saw that someone offered EUR 50,- for them so i assumed it was you. Assuming you are just getting into collecting Atari 2600 carts and don't have any of them i would say anything up to EUR 100,- would be reasonable (the games make a great starter set, but since most of the games are quite common it might be hard to resell them if you only bought the set because you needed a few games). I would say the yoko card is semi-rare. You don't see it that often, but unfortunately yours is used. A blank, unused cart complete with the packaging might be worth something (if you are lucky you might get EUR 10-20 for it). Used ones usually don't sell for much. Being able to spot the difference between PAL and NTSC without plugging it into a console can be tricky sometimes. You can assume that all carts sold in PAL territory (Europe, New Zealand, Australia, etc.) are PAL. If you really want to know how to exactly spot the correct region check the forums. There are many threads about this subject. Turning off Javascript in your browser usually does the trick.
  9. I assume we are talking about these games? I don't see anything really special (except some of the funky pirates and a something that looks like a yoko-copy cart). But still, EUR 50,- for 64 Atari carts is still a good deal. As Rom Hunter already pointed out, most of them are not very rare as a PAL version (make sure that you check PAL rarities instead of NTSC because there are quite some big differences).
  10. Told you it was rare Anyway, here are the pictures i posted some time ago. Judge for yourself: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...mp;#entry985388
  11. Well that's an interesting question. As far as i know i am the only one with a confirmed PAL copy of that game. I've asked here a few times on the forum but no one has stepped forward claiming to own one too. Interestingly, nobody even knew it existed before i posted pictures of mine. Best thing is, it used to be shrinkwrapped (but not anymore )
  12. I think my PAL Custer's Revenge is even harder to find
  13. No-one has any ideas what to do with a spare lynx screen???
  14. Hi, I just noticed i have a box full of Lynx parts, including a spare screen. Unfortunately i have no idea if it still works, but if it does, is it possible to use it for something else besides a Lynx? Is there an easy way to connect it to a VGA signal/S-video or something else?
  15. LOL, for that amount i would personally program an exclusive Atari 2600 game, make exactly 1 copy and sell that to the buyer. Since i am in a good mood today i will even give a discount. Anyone wants to have a very rare game (guaranteed to have only 1 existing copy) for $5000 ??
  16. Hmm it did look familair. Any change it originally came from the Netherlands??
  17. Hey, That Custer's Revenge (and the other 'adult' titles), are they PAL or NTSC?
  18. I agree. The PAL Bomb games have a rarity of 4 (or close to that) where the NTSC versions are rarity 9. I think a price around $5 - $10 would be reasonable.
  19. Hi, I'm looking for a complete, working, original copy of Altered Beast for the PS2 (PAL version). PM me with your asking price incl. shipping to Holland. Thanks!
  20. Didn't i PM you about that a few months ago? Anyway, the Funvision label was on top. I had a few questions regarding how much i want for it, the buy-it-now price is $100 (ex. shipping). If you think that is too much, PM me your offer.
  21. Why not General Re-treat/Westward Ho? IIRC i once saw Marco selling one (might be that ianoid actually picked up that one)
  22. Hi, I have a Spider Maze/Spider Monster T-handle cart for sale. When i originally got it i noticed it had another label underneath the current one so i carefully managed to seperate both labels from each other. I never bothered to glue them back on as i was afraid the glue might damage the labels. This is why this cart comes with two labels. Cart works fine, is PAL and is loose. See pictures: I accept payment by bank-transfer or paypal (no CC though). Game will be shipped from The Netherlands for actual shipping costs. Any questions? Just ask.
  23. Maybe, but just to be sure, withdraw all your funds from Paypal ASAP.
