  1. Mangia? If you eat too much, you die.
  2. I hope I am not too late for this one! I recently bought the DVD of the 1st film, and found the movie to be hilarious Please add me for a STANDARD EDITION. Thanks!
  3. Necropost! I think this is a good list, but I will open it up for any other suggestions. Or if anybody wants to start a new list, you are welcome. Maybe the above list could work on a poster, or a Magnet or something. Hmm.
  4. Hey, some of you guys need to back off! How many of you have produced a homebrew before? I have, and I know that it takes lots of details to build a homebrew from idea to shipment in the post, and little mistakes can happen. Rudy is an okay guy, and he has been willing to make things right with those that are having issues with their order. Let us cut him a bit of slack. I, for one, like my cart and manual. As for the game itself, I will offer some "constructive" criticism: The game concept is fun and unique for the 2600! However, I feel the game could have used a bit more polish to make it great! Just an example would have been perhaps, to have an open door on both sides of the house, then your wife could appear at either side for a touch more randomness of where you need to go while dodging the falling snow. Another feature may have been to add a street car passing across the bottom of the screen so you have to avoid getting run over while shoveling (But I have not played far enough into the game, this may indeed be in the game already. ) I hope with your next release, maybe you will share with some of us first as a beta-release to work out any game design issues that may come to light before you start producing carts. The above is not meant as a slight, only a suggestion. The game itself is a fun diversion the way it is now, but don't be afraid to share it in the Hombrew Discussion or Programming forums here or elsewhere in the future to make the game the best it can be. With that said, I played several rounds tonight and here is my current high score.
  5. Hi! Please add me to your list for interest in a loose cart! Thanks!
  6. Hi. I just pre-ordered a loose cartridge (can not afford the boxed version at this time. Sorry) Good luck with the sales!
  7. Does your friend work at Kinko's? I hope he/she is "warm to BASIC"
  8. Thank you for sharing this! I missed out on the limited edition. Are there plans to do a standard cart release at some point? Later.
  9. Please keep working on this! It sounds like a fun adventure game. The 2600 needs more of this type of game.
  10. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for sharing this!
  11. More Kudos to Cebus and Brian O. for the Halo 2600 poster and bonus goodies. Great communication and prompt delivery in the mail! Would buy from again!
  12. Great seller! Recently purchased his limited edition game Gateracer II for the 2600. Great communication, easy to work with, and prompt delivery of the game in the mail. Would purchase from again!
  13. Good luck with your future releases, Neo!
  14. Thank you for programming and sharing this game, s0c7!
  15. I'm interested in my cart signed and numbered. I am also in Missouri, so no worries for me on the shipping cost.
  16. Awesome! ..but I still detest Math, LOL. Of the math disciplines, I always did better in Geometry than the others.
  17. Count me as interested! LOL, I have yet to try out the game (been too busy lately), but I will buy one sight unseen. I own Adventure Plus and Cave-In is on my wishlist. I have always been impressed with your bB projects and have learned from your code. So I would be in for 1 cart + SaveKey!
  18. That is the first area where you can use the "kneel and pray" action. You got the Amiga Joyboard with your copy of the game, right?
  19. 20. I have a modified Supercharger, but to be honest, have never tried it with a tape player. I have used it maybe once or twice to load games from CD "Stella gets a new Brain" I think it was called, before my portable CD player broke, LOL. A game on tape would be cool for nostalgia, but, personally I would more likely invest in another CD player rather than find an old cassette player(do they still make them new anymore?). So, as mentioned above, I would be interested in accessing the game from CD or .wav files. EDIT: or the mp3 option.
  21. I have worked almost exclusively with the multisprite kernel, but my project(s) have been slowgoing. I just don't have a lot of free time lately. What I do know is that the multisprite kernel assumes you have all the basic items defined. What I mean is, players 0 and 1-5 need to have a graphic and color assigned: i.e. player1: %00111100 . . etc at least 1 line for each player graphic and an x and y coordinate given, i.e. player1x = 84 player1y = 35 and a color and size i.e. (Make sure color and size and player0's graphic are included INSIDE your game loop, or it will get erased when your code gets to the "drawscreen" command.) _NUSIZ1 = $30 _COLUP1 = $46 Do the above for all 6 players and also the ball and 2 missle objects. You can color the objects you don't want black, or you can locate them offscreen. Just remember that the multisprite kernel starts with 1 at the bottom of the screen and the top is around 80. If you don't define a playfiled then it is probably a good idea to include the pfheight command at the top of your code listing, i.e. pfheight = 7 and also the screenheight command (88, 84, or 80) to constrain the screen. You may be able to get it to work without some of the above, but my experience has been that it helps to have a placeholder for all the objects, then you can add them in one at a time as your game progresses. Much of what I have learned about the multisprite kernel I picked up from following Robert M's blog here and his Hero- shooter project. Unfortunatley, Rob has not been around in a while to work on the game further. http://www.atariage....orithm-testing/ Hope this helps! Good luck!
  22. Hey theloon! I tried to download your game from the OP and it giving me an error screen, saying it can't find it? Anyway, I downloaded it from your thread in the bB forum. However, I won't be able to give you feedback until later as I will be reformatting my hard drives this weekend and I have already transferred my files of Stella to another disk for now. I will be sure to post some feedback when I have the new drive up and running correctly. Good luck with the Louisville show!
  23. @Waterborn: As a comparison, I just looked at my email records and I submitted my kickstarter pledge on May 21st. The campaign ended on May 24th, so I was one of the last pledges. I got my copy this past Saturday. Do you recall what day you made your pledge? FWIW, I can see the craftsmanship that Scott put into my cartridge. The fact that it has been hand-made adds some extra value to it, in my opinion. EDIT: Just wanted to clarify my above post is in no way intended as a slight to Albert, CPUWIZ, GoodDeal Games, or anybody else who makes "hand made" homebrews, hacks, etc. All of your efforts are appreciated as well. I am mainly referring to Scott making the carts with a mold, adding LEDs one by one, and all that that entails, though I know Scott is not the only homebrewer that has built molds.. I better stop there or risk putting my foot in my mouth if I keep typing
