I would like to see it done monochrome like Suicide Mission. Then you could have the star field, giant explosions, audio samples... Spiceware was working on a bitmap playfield. See Eggventure title screen. I love Suicide Mission, Meteoroids, oh, and flicker!

This looks better: http://www.onlinegamegame.com/mario-bros-2007-for-atari-xlxe-8-bit-systems/ Is this for real? Always loved this, 2 players at the same time.

I just ordered one Question: in this thread and one other "Mario XE" is mentioned. Is that the 5200 version of Mario Bros. that runs on the 800XL/XE or something else like a demo or different game entirely? In this thread someone says I'll have to try Mario XE, and the other one is (Mario XE is one I want to get).

And me. I seems like a bizarre omission from the 2600 library... I wonder too. The arcade Galaga, to me anyway due to the time it came out and its longevity, is a progamming masterpiece. I marvel at what is a perfect balance of gameplay and enemy AI and what was accomplished at the date it was released.. I think it's too beloved to be ported, not that technically it couldn't be ported. I actually love 2600 millipede and hated the arcade version, a very complicated game with many enemies and rapid gameplay.

[ended] Vectrex Sean Kelly Multicart w/pause switch just up on eBay
iesposta replied to iesposta's topic in Auction Central
Wow. That auction lasted all of 2 1/2 hours, & around midnight at that! I thought something was wrong or it was pulled because it wasn't listed today, but it ended with a Buy It Now. -
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 160699952214 Just saw this pop up and though info might be useful to someone. This is older than the one I own (1999), and it says it has a pause switch. I thought the version 1 had dip switches? This one has a label like mine, except for the hole switch and the © date. He just sold (eBay) off a batch of them for $49.99 each, so who knows when they'll come up again.

Atarimax Flash Cartridge v SIO2SD - which is best?
iesposta replied to stevelanc's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
About the Sio2SD: Can you copy files from the 1050 disk drive to it? All I have read is that you fill the card at your PC... -
Okay, so the pre-order weekend is over. Did we beat the release total of MW3 of $750,000? How many were ordered? How many left? There were sooooo many people that replied, "I'll take one." I never posted, but I took one.

It's pretty simple, and I DO have 15 end statements. I'm trying to do impossible things with the data fetchers, so that part is not standard.

Anyone else get this VisualbB (565) bblint error? [12/11/2011 4:46:05 PM] bblint found the following errors in Aquarium12.bas warning(): Found 14 commands that use end, and 15 "end" commands. Using the latest and greatest of all files. It seems weird it should be flagging all end statements... ? After an error box that allows "continue" all compile fine and run in stella and on Harmony. Win 7. [edit] sorry, meant to post in batari basic forum...

I recently paid 10 times what you paid for a boxed Imager. Your auction was titled viewer so many probably missed it.

Star Castle needs to be started again as a home brew. Use DPC+ and 16K or 32K with or without ARM programming.

Did you go multicart - and regret it?
iesposta replied to boxpressed's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Sorry, I assumed. I don't know anything more than since 2005 something happened and he wasn't around. Again, my apologies. -
Did you go multicart - and regret it?

I got a Harmony mulit-cart for the 2600, but since have bought Jr. Pac Man (since I think it's an amazing achievement), Robot Tank boxed (childhood favorite - reacquired), Medieval Mayhem (modern day favorite with my nephew. Just wanted a physical cart, it's that good!) and Ordered Boulder Dash (too big as of now to fit on Harmony cart). I'm also trying to win a Stella's Stocking on eBay. For Vectrex I have a 1999 Sean Kelly multi cart, VecMulti with the micro SD card, but have purchased a lot of home brew carts over the years. (Phoenix) home brew is a fav, Protector (Defender) is an amazing accomplishment that HAS to be played on the real hardware([edit] Alex Herbert), just got Time Pilot (Kristof Tuts), and have Warrior (Fury Unlimited, limited edition only 100 to be made) ordered. I would buy 3D Sector X from Fury Unlimited, but that too was a limited release with no ROM available. Only thing I regret is that some games I want and can't afford or aren't available, and THE ROMs AREN'T RELEASED! 2600 and Vectrex both! I also picked up an 8meg flash cart for my 800XL same reason as poster above. -
Yep, sorry I AM using NUSIZ2-9 but I remember having some problem with player1 and worked around it by using player0, 2,3,4,5 etc.
-
Try using player2 sprite and REFP2? Just a suggestion, I can't try it out at the moment.
