    atari jaguar 2

Not currently. Glenn is going to try and troubleshoot it next time he's up this way. However, the one in the Atari Museum does work with Jag carts. Jason I wonder if the "working" Jag2 enhances the graphics? Elsewhere, it was reported that the working model will play Jag carts at Jaguar speed (no improvements) for a while and then it gets hot and crashes. Sounds like they went backwards to me heh. Jaguar v0.5
  2. Hey wow... your in Florida... I didn't know there were any other Jag fans so close.
  3. Wow... I can hear Willard crying already.
  4. And now Jaguars Jumping on Trampolines! ROFL
  5. I hear it is the same as all other versions. That is one of the few games I don't have though.
  6. You can save at any point. I don't recall if it actually tells you the game was saved. I do know that is how it works. If I remember correctly... when you load the game it starts you at the beginning of the level you saved in. I think it saves the level you are on, your health, weapons, ammo, and it may even save enemies but I am not sure. I could be wrong but I think that is how it worked.
  7. In the game hit 1, 2, or 3 to save in one of the save slots. On the game intro menu you can navigate between the save slots and load one.
  8. XBox uses a Pentium3 class proc (the processor as a whole is actually the equivalent of a Celeron.) Pentium3's are 32-bit processor's. It dosn't really matter though. These days (with the exception of the PS2... people need to learn how to develop for that damn thing) all the graphics are kicked off to the gpu anyway. You can't really put game consoles in a bit class anymore. It was really the wrong way to do it from the start.... oh well. People seem to want to call the new generation of consoles 128-bit consoles when the truth is they have 32 bit processors in them (just as you have in your computer.) As for the XBox controller... I bought my XBox when they had the original controller's (and no pack-in games.) I purchased another original controller when I got my XBox. I later purchased one of the small ones. So... I have 2 original and 1 small and I like them both. There are actually some games where 1 is more suitable than the other.
  9. The only reason it is difficult to understand what DragonForce is writing is because English is not his native language.
  10. The music hear between maps is what would be in the game.
  11. I like Zool2 a lot... almost as much as Rayman. I don't like Bubsy. The thing I like about Zool2 is the pace. It's like the pace of T2k in a platformer.
  12. Turning the picture (or the head) at 90° shows that he is fixing the cartridge by pressing it into the "slot". But won't we all do this when walking around with our mobile Jaguar? Matthias PS: You are right, the cartridge isn't sitting perpendicular in the "slot". Yeah... in the first pic he is holding it upright so it is sitting in the slot fine. In the second pic since he's holding it to his side I figured he was holding the cart in. The fact that his thumb is securely held against the cart reinforces this idea but what really made me notice was the fact that the cart is further into the slot where his thumb is and less on the other end. So the cart is crooked. It makes sence that it would be if it is indeed empty. You would think they would have at least constructed something to hold the cart in while he walked around with that thing.
  13. Hyper Eyeball... lol... believe it or not that is a new one on me... and I have been using this nick for about 6 years.
  14. Hmmm.... does the cartridge look seated or do you think hes holding it in in the second pic?
  15. I dont think anyone is sick of you Dragonforce. The forum has just been kind of "not normal" for the last few days or so. I do know that a lot of people are sick of Willard. I think people have forgotten that there is an ignore button though. Anyway... I think a forum specific to development should be created for people to discuss stuff like this so that this forum can go back to simple game and Jaguar discussion (there could already be a development forum but I wouldn't know because the Jag one is the only one I frequent.) Anyway... I'm blabbering... I just woke up... I'm not even making since to myself. Later.
  16. I think you meant to say he never ceases to amaze you... as opposed to he never amazes you.
  17. I married my wife when she was 15 and she was extremely intelligent. She was intelligent enough to manage our finances, get a job, start a bussiness, work on continuing her education (work on getting into college), and help take care of our home. I was 16. Age is no excuse for being as dumb and ignorant as you are. When I married my wife (I better remind you she was 15 because you have probably forgotten already) she knew she couldn't copy games (whether downloaded or borrowed) and sell them.
  18. Oh yeah... I would also like to throw in that it is not my job to decide whether or not it should be released anyway... nor is it yours. Any game, art, music, writing, idea... is copyrighted material unless specific permission is given for someone else to use it. Releasing this game is illegal no matter how you cut it unless an agreement is made between you and the person currently holding the copyright. I don't know why I bother though. You don't seem to comprehend what you are reading anyway. You will probably decide this means something completely different then intended and say something completely off the wall... and it will make me laugh at you some more so I really don't mind.
  19. OMG... this guy gets funnier and funnier. Alright... I am an idiot because I feel there are valid reasons to release and valid resons not to release. This makes me such an idiot it's unbelievable. Oh... if anyone ever has any doubt about whether to vote Rublican or Democrat because they both make good points... you are idiots. Also... if you ever have trouble deciding between chocolate and vanilla ice cream your also idiots. If you have both then your even bigger idiots.
  20. I didnt say SuperDork is an idiot. He seems like a pretty cool guy. I said YOU are an idiot. And... if you learn to read then take another look at my post you will see that I laid out reason's why I feel the game should be release and why I feel it shouldn't. I didn't argue specifically either way. I gave reasons why I go both ways.
  21. I agree with whomever said Willard is an idiot. Willard, your an idiot. Go away for a while and come back when you have matured a bit and can realize when your being an absolute moron. These forums were quite nice. Then idiots come along. OK... not that I got that out of the way. I am a jag collector. I am very fond of my collection and I couldn't let it go for anything. I agree that it is great to have new releases so that the community can get a new game. I also agree that it is nice to know that your collection is valuable. I don't know anyone that collects something that has no value attached. That would be pretty dumb and a waste of time. I am not sure if I like the idea of the game being released or kept in a limited quantity. It is nice to be able to say that you have something rare for your jag. If every rare game got released in mass quantities then 1) Collecting for it wouldn't be as enjoyable 2) Games wouldn't be as valuable 3) A decrease in a games value can decrease the value of somebody's entire collection. Face it... one day your Jag is going to get sold... if not by you then by your children and it would be nice to know that when it is finally sold it holds some value. Then again... I am dying for a new game as much as the next guy.
  22. I love Cannon Fodder... one of my favorites.
  23. I love Rayman and so does my wife. Excellent purchase.
