Quick questions about the parts from the diagram.

R3 is 10 and R4 is 75. Is that 10k and 75k or 10 ohm and 75 ohm??? (Just don't think I've worked with resistors that low, although I haven't done much electronics so that doesn't mean much.. )

[Odyssey 2 CIB Guide?]

Took me forever to finally get a CIB Power Lords. It seems that eBay seller Happiestsellerever bought up every copy in existence for a while and is selling them for rediculous amounts. Keep trying. I finally got my copy for under 100 using a make an offer.

 

As far as getting the others for $10, I would agree except for the 2 master series games with the board and game pieces. To get a complete copy of those it will likely set you back just a bit more than that.

Oh man that happiestsellerever is a total dick! I wanted a CIB power lords game since it was the last one I needed and he didn't take my 'reasonable offer' so I sent him a nasty message on ebay and he ended up reporting me. Almost a year later I got one off ebay just missing the manual for $115 shipped which I thought was a good deal.

 

He is the definition of a video game reseller.

[Odyssey/Videopac Community]

I would love to be a part of a Odyssey 2 'brotherhood ' but I have no idea what they necessarily do exactly. I been thinking of starting an Odyssey 2 gaming group on Facebook. I would have to gauge interest so it doesn't die out. Also try and come up with way to keep it fresh and interesting.

Haha I know, Canada's version of Smarties are mini m&ms...they used to be called smarties in the US now it's called something else now.

My parents have dropped off my Secret Santa package tonight. I'm also waiting for another Secret Santa package I did on my one Facebook gaming group: Gaming Central. I will open them Christmas day and will record and upload the video on my YouTube channel :-)

Also besides the video circuit make sure the 5V voltage regulator is in good working order. Mine was giving me crappy video once in a while; even after I installed the video circuit, so I replaced the voltage regulator last week and the picture has been the best it's ever been.

[Most unreliable/problematic video game console you ever owned?]

For me it would have to be the Sega Game Gear...I had to re cap the sound board and the main board to fix audio and video issues respectively.

Try spraying the circuit board with contact cleaner. I also go over the contacts with an alcohol qtip too.

[Painting the O2]

That's awesome Rob! I used a grey sharpee paint pen one one I got on ebay that was scratched up. Even tho the Grey is slightly lighter color I was able to blend it in rather well.
