I ended up getting rid of all of my gaming magazines. Had 6+ years of Gamepros, misc mags, and 3+ years of Gameinformer. Console wise I never sold any of my stuff but I have been considering selling the following if I had to: VIrtual Boy: Haven't played it in ages...not sure it still works Game Gear: Fixed it over the summer via cap replacement. Works now. Tandy CoCo 3: Only reason I'm still holding onto this is due to sentimental reasons since my grandpa gave me it, and some games I own are super expensive and rare from when I looked a few games up. So I guess it's good to have in the collection? Last time I checked Mind Roll was $100 cart only...mine is CIB.

Yea I was on the fence on getting a Neo Geo X-Gold then you mentioned about the Neo Geo CD and the pros with that system and I thought that was the better buy. Plus if I ever bought a Neo Geo X-Gold I'd most likely never open it since it might end up being a rare stupid portable system that will be super over priced, lol. Yea I figured my friend was selling that for way too much...I told him if he dropped the price by at least $100, I would think about it. Plus the scratches on the disc cover aren't good either. I'm glad to hear you bought from Garakuta before, I was shooting in the dark as to whom I should buy this console off of, and wanted to make sure I wouldn't get ripped off or screwed over like I've had experienced in the past. Now I can rest easy knowing that I made a good decision on my purchase I'll definitely gotta check out those games you mentioned, I saw some youtube videos on a few of them and they seemed great! One thing that caught my attention was the awesome soundtrack's the games use. Now I gotta come up with a way to sneak it in the house once I get it and find a way to hook it up and play it without my girlfriend knowing it's a new console...lol Hmmm maybe I'll just tell her my cousin gave it to me for free with the 3 games which could be true since he gave me an Atari 5200 with a few games last year for free.

So I decided to start off the new year with a new console that I never owned before and decided to go the Neo Geo cheap route and picked up a Neo Geo CD with 3 games (KOF 95, 96, 97), hookups and controller on eBay for $172.99 shipped. I watched a few youtube videos online on the reviews on the system and it seems like the only main issue is the long load times on some games. I look forward to playing it when it arrives a month from now, lol. Does anyone else on here have any thoughts on the unit? Did I pay too much for it? Personally I think I did well considering the one games store I go to sold one with 6 games and the CD cover was scratched for $300.

So my PS Vita came with an 8GB memory card and with 2 full games and a few small games and apps it's basically full with only 300 MB left! I was looking online and they apparently only make the memory cards up to 32GB and it cost around $70! Seriously?!?!?! I think that's nuts! I was wondering if there would be any cheaper way to get more memory for less price? I think they are micro SD format? Thanks!

Hey 5-11under, wow I can't believe it's been soo long since I last fixed the colecovision I was having trouble with, lol; anyway, I got yet another colecovision console and this one would have some number button pressed, not sure which one and the right direction would seem stuck without any controllers. So I took it apart and cleaned it, and now the direction issue is fixed but the menu (number being held down) is being bypassed and goes right to the game. Would this still be the controller chip issue? I'm curious since cleaning it fixed the direction issue..I wanted to ask you to make sure before I went and replaced those chips. Thanks for your help! :-)

My friend asked me to fix his PS3 Slim. When I plug the power cord into the system the red standby button turns on but as soon as I turn on the power after a second it turns off and won't turn back on again. Even the red standby button turns off. I'm assuming that the power supply within the system has died? Not sure if this is a common issue with these units. Looking at other places online it seems it could be either A) Bad power supply B)Hardware failure or C) Hard Drive....I'm pretty sure its the power supply not being able to hold a charge. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! -Mark
