    Hello Sr. Ferraz,

From reading this form you seen to be someone who knows a lot about Brazilian Atari 2600 games etc.

Have you ever seen these boxed colour CCE games? I haven't been able to find them anywhere else.

I also have squirrel boxed with instructions in fantastic condition.

    Regards, Retro Robey.

Those are indeed really rare. I do have a single one complete, and a friend of mine has three IIRC.

       Mine is Phantom Tank.

That is just beautiful. Congratulations! 🙂

Please keep in mind when looking for the missing ones that there is a motherf... Gentlemen making repros of those and selling them on MercadoLivre. 😞

Any tape deck with remote dictation function will work. The cable is only used to send signal to and from the ATARI to tell the system when to advance the game play screens. Sound is all out of the tape deck speaker for the data part it's all out the 2 jacks. Here is how to build your own cable as ANY old dictation capable tape deck will work, also attached is a pic of the one I built for myself and some other goodies you might want.

Oh no, what have I done?  I can't paint everybody's buttons LOL.

Tell you what, you all have blown us away with your support of our little venture to build Scott's controller design.  Greg and the next four to ask here will get painted buttons as pictured in their kit.  PM me your order number and I'll make a note.

And if/when Dr. Baker reads this - he gets whatever case and buttons he wants, on me.  ;-)

       PM sent. 🙂

Don't forget the INTV version of pacman.  There's also rom variations with Space Battle, Auto Racing, Armor Battle, Math Fun.

Where did the rarity information come from.  It says the most rare cartridges are stadium mud buggies, congo bongo, tutankham, and super cobra.

       Thank you for the info!

       Rarity is from INTV Funhouse.

Is there a “more accepted” rarity list?

  6.    Hello,

I´ve been creating spreadsheets to help controlling my collection for some time now. Finally I took the bold move to face Intellivision. 🙂

I am not an expert on INTV at all, I only have like 50 boxed games or so. Any help is greatly appreciated. ;-)

It works fine on Excel. Apparently it does NOT work well on Google Docs. I haven´t tested it on OpenOffice.

A little video showing what it does:

Any comments, ideas and suggestions are more than welcome. 🙂

       I´ve made a few other (A2600, A5200, A7800 & Coleco), they can be found here: http://www.lazzeri.online/pub/Checklists.html

Look again the Mattel boxes will say "Mattel Electronics" on the front.  As far as I know INTV did not make any gatefold boxes; their boxes will say Intellivision Inc on the back.

       HOLY CR*P how I missed that? 😞

I was looking for something in the tiny texts around the picture, not in the picture itself. Shame on me.

       Thank you! 🙂

  8.    Hello,

Trying to learn a little more about INTV so please be nice. 🙂

I was poking around INTV Funhouse and saw that there are games released by both Mattel and Intellivision Inc. I had a hard time spotting the difference between them.

It seems that most INTV Inc have white labels, I got that. But I was looking at box scans for games released by both companies (like AD&D) and couldn´t spot any obvious difference.

Is it safe to assume that gatefold boxes are always Mattel? But "regular" boxes does NOT necessarily means a INTV Inc, correct?

Would someone shed some light? Pretty pretty please? :-D

  9. I do have a question... 😕

I´ve been looking for some Xonox Single-enders lately and all manuals I´ve seen say "Double Ender" in the cover.

Does that means that the Double Ender were released first and Single Enders came later? I mean, are the Double Enders the original release and Single Enders the repacks?

  10.    So here´s the improved & expanded version of the Excel spreadsheet designed to help you with you Atari 2600 games.

It works fine in Excel. Apparently it does NOT work well on Google Docs. I haven´t tested it on OpenOffice.

Here´s a video showing what it does. Forgive me about my accent, english is not my first language. 🙂

I dumped it recently. There are definitely more than one; I own two at the moment, and I know at least one other person who has one. I believe it's been known to exist for a while, though.

If you read on a bit further in the ROM dump thread, I also dumped the Bit Corp R320 cart, which we've learned was a pack-in cartridge with Bit Corp's "Creator 30" console. I think the 8-in-1 was likely a similar situation, either a pack-in with one of their other consoles, or perhaps it was just a multi-cart offering showing most of their original (?) creations.

I do have one 8-in-1 myself and I know maybe three other copies down here. I might ask around if there’s more.

Definitely uncommon but not insanely rare.

  12. Supergun (can I call you Billy?), do you mind if I take your latest list and just divide the games by manufacturer, like you did in your first attempt?

Maybe also some minor tweaks in the expansions?

This is already a superb job, and I guess with some minor tweaks it can easily go Canonycal.

Really excellent piece of work. 🙂

  13. Some questions:

    - Wich one came first? Sea Hawk by Panda or by Froggo? Exocet (Panda) or Cruise Missile (Froggo)? Scuba Diver (Panda) or Sea Hunt (Froggo)? Karate by Ultravision or Froggo?

I got the feeling that the Panda games and Ultravivision deserves to be called the original ones and Froggo are the copies, and that must be changed in the master list.

    - What about Playaround? Since all their games are double-enders, shouldn´t they be listed like this? Don´t the hacks (Cathouse, lady in wading) should be added? I mean, shouldn´t the five different Double Enders enter the list?

I´ll wait for approval before doing so 🙂 - specially I´d love to hear from @Supergun

IMO the presentation of the re-releases and AKA's in the list should be consistent.

    For example:

Atari Video Cube (later released as Rubik's Cube by xxx)
Rubik's Cube (REPEAT! - originally released as Atari Video Cube by xxx)

    Yes, Lochjaw was first.

Spider Maze is a diffferent game than Donkey Kong

BTW: Nightmare Manor was a WIP title of Haunted House

    8)

I´ll give it a try. I just realized I´ve forgot to add Supergun´s original footnotes. Added now.

It will be a HELL of a job to sort it alphabetically since it´s a text file with "hardcoded" numbers. I´ll see what I can do.

Let´s see if anybody else says something then I´ll jump into the hard work.

Thank you! Let´s do this! ;-)

    Thanks for the list!

I'm trying to understand all the * remarks. A bit confusing IMO.

    Some questions and corrections:

    - Why are not all the *'s explained?
    - Why is not everything in alphabetical order?
    - Why is Asterix marked? It was available in NTSC
    - Hot Rox is a WIP title of Demons to Diamonds
    - Raiders of the Lost Ark is misspelled
    - Star Raiders 2 is a WIP title
    - BMX Airmaster (REPEAT) - (original by TNT)
    - Polo is not explained
    - Atlantis (REPEAT) - (original by Imagic)
    - Demon Attack (REPEAT) - (original by Imagic)
    - Lock Jaw is misspelled
    - Spider Maze is not a ROM hack of Donkey Kong

I'll have a look at the expansions later.

    Keep up the good work!

    8)

On the top of my head:

    - I´ll check all the (*) and see what can I add myself;

    - Good idea, put in alphabetical order. I´ll try that;

    - Asterix is probably marked because it´s a Taz hack. At least that´s why it´s not in RandomTerrain´s page.

I don´t get what you meant with BMX, Atlantis & Demon Attack (REPEAT), sorry.

Regarding Lock Jaw / Shark Attack: Wasn´t Lock Jaw released first? I think it´s the one who sits in the throne, despise being way rarer.

    Comments on Spider Maze?

       Thank you!

Actually I´ve just compiled the lists, edits & moves all around this thread. I´ll take a deeper look at it in the following days. 🙂

Thank you for your remarks! I´m sure Supergun might clarify some of those.

  17.    So... I´m working on the Atari 2600 spreadsheet (OH GOD WHY) and I realized that we haven´t compiled the list & expansions into a single file. :-o

I just did that, following all the posts on this thread. The only change I did was taking Megaboy from expansion 2 and moving it to expansion 1, since it fits all criteria of that (NTSC, Stock, outside USA).

I think that´s a step closer to locking the list for now? Do you mind checking it?
