I hopen it up to do some cleaning and dusting and i noticed 2 things attached to my metal box one is a green lable ( like a price tag thing reading 1185 2) which is odd maybe a code enough and in hand writting 1977 on a piece of paper ( the type that some calculators print using ) saying 99 35600002. # this might be somethign for Curt to look over anyone want to call him over. but just odd and figured it might be interesting

Hey guys i had to tell you all about this. Looking at the thrift shop tonight. by passing the pacmans and asteroids at 3.99 and the bin of tangled atari commodore joysticks ( really really tangled) and i found a little oddity i thought woudl go perfect with my 1977 heavysixer atari system. I saw a Vintage 1970's 9 or 11 inch tv (little portable tv) and the best part its a RETRO ORANGE color. just like the small TVs im sure many people had when the atari first came out. And the best part for this little extra piece of retro 70s atari history cost me all of $8.50. the same price to buy space invaders , asteroids and pacman (9.97). sometimes the best atari item you can buy to shine your collection isnt always atari . what yall think??

Hi i am in a middle of a trade and recieved AIr sea battle. the top labels seems to be the original text top label on teh cart and the end label looks like teh original 02 style endlabel for the cart. ( i say this cause both seem glued fully like the rest of my collection carts with no over run glue not sticky at the ends. and the end label seems to be creased where the top half and lower half meet i have contacted Joel about this cart since he traded or sold this cart to the guy im trading with. im assuming that it is a reglued label but im hearing it might be original like that . well what do you all think thanks

heres the artitcal i think it was found on page 7 or 9 if you want to scoll back but i never got any feed back abotu it so tell me all waht you think Author Topic: Full Atari Inc. Collection? atari70s Atari Pro II Home of 566 atari game carts and counting Member # 298 posted 07-22-2001 01:13 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey all I was doing some late night thinking here and goign though all teh atari inc carts produced and un released i have come up with that the full collection with CX-2601 at teh starting point going right thou any missing numbers woudl be CX-26212 as a ending number model. now exactly why did atari skip over CX-26100? it sure wasnt because there wasnt enough games. ud think when you see it getting into to low 180's hey we got room for one at 26100? might of made things more interesting . but for teh 35 or so un released atari in progress games was there a cx-26100 , and strait up to cx-26212? can anyone tell me if they game numbers to games like Preppie that never made it. and why theres 2 CX-2674 ET and what i think is best electronics release of dukes of hazzard( b&w label) when the dukes shoudl be cx-2678? also if this was something to do with atari then is it true then very early releases or early label designs may have our beloved games haveing other strange model numbers we dont consider to relate to them like a CX-2650 asteroids ? Id preorder if it was gonna happen for sure. but the odds id say arent too good im sure. Hasbro owns the rights to gamesliek Frogger Cenipede Asteroids i believe and Infogames owns the atari name not sure everythin inthe inventory . but think about this i doubt Activision Sears or any of the other big atari hitters woudl make games again cause they are in a new market of there own activision is doign PC games now Sears gaveout on video games went back to tools. Sega is gone so is Coleco. Parker Bros went back to board games many of the small companies seem to have vanished. But there is a good side to this if it did happen ( not only would they make new games within the company( would they start at Cx-26193?? after klax or add up all un numbered Prototypes and then after all is added up start at Cx-26213 like if all atari protos were made sold with model numbers ( refer to the old post of mine about 30 to 60 days back to learn about my theory on that. ) but it might be good for atari and launch them into making systems again better ones not liek PS2 but ones to go againist Gameboy. Also help little known New Companies show what they got and hate to say this ( maybe happy to say this ) be like a minor league to the big leauges of video games. small companies goign to atari getting good vibes from the publicv about there games then go to Nintendo or Playstation and sell games to them . and gives them time to see whats new and all. just a thought

Hey all Got a question i dont know if its possible. While practicign or qualifing in Pole position is it ever possible to qualify in the 49 second bracket?? with trafic i have runa 50.33 and when im out alone a 50.01 but never a 49.anything. anyone has been able to go under 50.00sec? If so how and if not how close have you come. any theories on how this might be done. if i ever get under i think im gonna snap photo it and put it on my site. Hey theres a thought if anyone has a Sceen shot of Pole Position lap UNDER 50.00 sec i will post your picture(screen shot) with name on my very own site ( www.angelfire.com/nj2/atari ) which is currently under reconstruction. Maybe if enough people can do it i can make some prize for being under 50.00sec. Well let me know im leading the way at 50.01 . who else out there can beat it with proof.
