  1. I believe Katamari Damacy is another one. Even though the DS apparently had a spinoff puzzle game in Japan, it plays nothing like the core series.
  2. Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight. That game frustrated me to no end, but I stuck with it (probably longer than I should have) and I eventually beat it. Then I decided to never play it again. I wouldn't have the patience for a game that hard nowadays.
  3. They are not available. If you go to the WiiWare section of the shop, only two things are available: the patch for Skyward Sword, and the system transfer tool. You can still access (and re-download) games that you've already purchased, but you can't buy anything new.
  4. My original Wii's disc drive failed after about 6 or 7 years. But I think it was going bad for a while before it failed completely, because it gradually got quite noisy while playing disc games. I bought a used replacement Wii several years back, and it's still working fine (fingers crossed), although this one gets much less usage than my original.
  5. Does the cursor have a number "2" on it? If so, that means it's the 2nd remote paired (player 2) and it can't select things from the menu. Go into the controller settings (using the gamepad) and make it the primary remote. If that's not the issue, then I'm not sure what the problem is. It seems like I had the same issue once (quite a while ago), but I don't remember what caused it.
  6. I've been playing a little Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey from time to time. Even though I've "beaten" the games, there is still so much to do and find, and it's fun just to explore (especially in BOTW). I also try to play Splatoon 2 when each Splatfest rolls around (but not much in between).
  7. Super Football is my favorite, by far. All of the other 2600 sports games I've played have been mediocre at best.
  8. The official Worms Twitter account tweeted: Source: https://twitter.com/WormsTeam17/status/961631013452615681

  10. Yes, I had the same problem. You must have the early five-screw version (five screws on the back of the cartridge instead of three). That problem was fixed in the three-screw version; I got one and had no trouble with it.
  11. I've been playing Haunted House lately. This is definitely the time of year to do it.
  12. I put together a video showing all four seasons of the new Animal Crossing track in DLC Pack #2 (showing one lap from each season). They really put a lot of work into these tracks; I think the winter version is especially gorgeous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOljXfVJN8M
  13. The NES version of Maniac Mansion originally allowed you to put a hamster in the microwave (as you could in computer versions). But later versions removed this ability.
  14. I beat the original Splatterhouse after picking it up on Wii Virtual Console for Halloween. It's a fun game, although it is quite short. That womb level gave me lots of problems, but I eventually got through it.
  15. Club Drive may be the ugliest of the three, but it's also the most fun...particularly in the two-player mode. I must admit I like some of the music in Checkered Flag though.
  16. I recently bought Picross e from the eShop, so I'm playing that lately. And I'm always playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf too.
  17. Castlevania (NES). Those last few levels are really hard, and Dracula in particular gave me all sorts of trouble. But I'm glad I finally beat the game after all these years.
  18. Yes, that works fine. You still need the GameCube-GBA link cable, of course.
  19. Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.
  20. About ten years ago, Kellogg's had a contest where you could enter codes (from cereal boxes) online to win Treasure Planet for PlayStation or PlayStation 2. I won the PS2 version. Unfortunately, I didn't have a PS2 at the time, so I actually didn't get to play it for a year or two.
  21. Yeah, you actually can't delete them. At least not without hacking. It's pretty lame that they can disable the channels, but they don't give us a way to actually delete the useless channels from our menu.
  22. It's still possible to visit friends. At the end of this month, Nintendo is disabling WiiConnect24, which means you won't be able to send letters to friends in other towns--but even after that, you can still play together.
  23. Perfect Dark Ocarina of Time n/a (I don't play Pokemon) Tetris n/a (I haven't played enough Game Gear to judge it fairly) Super Mario Bros. SNES Street Fighter n/a Mode 7
  24. What about 1992? The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, Contra III, Top Gear, Axelay, and of course Street Fighter II.
