Do ColecoVision carts fit properly in the UGCs? A picture of a ColecoVision cart seated in a UGC would be appreciated if you get a chance to post one. If the carts fit well in these cases, I think it might be a nice alternative for homebrews. The only carts that don't fit (or I'm told) is NES games. A minor mod to the case lets NES carts fit snuggly. Pics to come. Sample with N64 cart.

$20 for a Galaxian loose cart is a heck of a great deal. Something is probably broken with the joystick and not repairable. The fire buttons can be dissembled and cleaned and put back together. What is UGC's ? What is The Cover Project? UGC's are Universal Game Cases. Plastic Cases that let you print a new label to store carts. Kinda like what carts used to be in at Blockbuster. The Cover Project (www.thecoverproject.net) is an online database of game box art remade for printing new DVD cases (for current gen systems) and UGC's for Old systems. Check it out.

Hi all. Been on a retro kick lately and got my CV up and running and enjoying some great Carts. I've had my CV since release and it has been a ball recently getting "new" carts for it. So I troll eBay looking for title to add to and complete my collection. Recently I've added these classics: Gorf Gateway to Apshai Miner 2049'er Star Trek (AT LAST) Tutankham and Frogger. Most I've been trying to keep under $10 in the purchase price, loose. Today I bit the bullet on a loose Galaxian for $19.99. I prefer to play with my SAC controllers instead of the normal ones. My CV came with white ADAM Controllers. WHen I pulled my SAC's out of storage, I found one doesn't have functionality in the buttons, and one joystick is sloppy to say the least. My question is how hard is it to repair SAC controllers? Also, I keep toying with bidding on a roller controller, so I can add Centipede and Omega Race to the collection, thoughts? This summer I plan on making covers and using UGC's for my new loose carts, it bugs me that over a The Cover Project most of the box art is from CBS European games and not the US releases, any hints on some good sources. I want that great Star Trek box art for my loose cart badly.
