Makke, you should trade it to me!
Why not Rev

I've seen this post about a big trade from Steve and Cmart http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/198688-cmart-and-steves-really-big-trade/ it would be nice to offer my Videoplexer for another big trade!
-
Just curious, what would you trade it for?
I'm sure that Cmart has some secret weapon up his sleeve

-
Excellent shots! Finally.
I know for a fact that you'll be receiving another 4 Digi, 4 Bandai, 3 French Canadian and a couple of other variants off the top of my head....
Thanks Cmart!!! By the way i'm always tempted to trade my Videoplexer...Keep in touch

-
Hi guys! I've finally found time to come back to the amazing AAforum and to post a pic of my collection, that includes a boxed KC with Basic Cassette&Cartridge, Jack LaLanne, Conversational French, Crossword 2, Family Budgeting...All the 125 games (included the most priced Spiker ever sold
) all the homebrews except 4-Tris Philly Classic and a sealed Videoplexer ...My goal for the next year is to complete my Digiplay collection (i need for 8 games and a boxed Digiplay II) and to increase my Bandai...I hope to post more pics soon!!!

Rev, we really should work on those lists for your website, including French Cdn, Digiplay, Sears, Bandai, CBS/Coleco, INTV, etc. Just sayin.

I can't wait to see it, have a nice work guys...And thanks!!!

I wonder if that was the one I lost to Makke? I know Ozma Wars (Max) sold a bunch of them to someone in Italy a year or two ago but I've never seen them surface. I'd pay 500 euros for an NIB one right now if anyone has one lying around.

I bought a sealed Videoplexer almost two years ago...I don't remember the seller and the final price of it, but i'm sure the price was less then my Spiker

By the way the Robot Rubble auction looks familiar to me...

Is it just as surprising that Learning Fun 1 sold for $353.54 while Learning Fun 2 sold for $184.05 ???
Is it just as surprising that Learning Fun 1 sold for $353.54 while Learning Fun 2 sold for $184.05 ???
Yeah, I did see that too. I guess it all depends on who is looking and bidding during the week something is on.
I think the last LF2 sold for like 175 to 200? And I dont think I have ever seen LF1 sell for more than 250? ...353 sure seems high!
Rev, you are right. I won the last LF2 for 180 or similar...But i lost the previous auction for more than 400! Yes, depends on who is bidding. Actually i need to upgrade my bad box of LF1 and maybe i recognized the same winner of the 400$ LF2 on the LF1 auction. By the way i have been surpised to find 3 more bidders over 300$ for LF1

i wasnt talking about spiker.....
i see rev really wants this.... i wish you luck on this. i know how bad you want it. if anyone else here bids on it we should have the brotherhood kick their ass. although i guess all is fair in love and ebay bid wars. if you get it then cmart cant taunt you anymore about it.Nevermind Makke , i found it.

Go for an hidden bid war???
I dont think it is hidden anymore.......
Just as long as no one ever gets upset about who bids on what, and who wins what....i dont think it has ever happened yet....at least in the intv community?
Sometimes i was glad i lost an auction! it surprises me how high some of this retro gaming stuff sells for.
Wait, are we talking about Spiker? Rev has that already. The one I bug him about is the bilingual Turbo.

I'm talking about Spiker

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110810338288
I was the second one to bid on it, then i've seen Cmart...
By the way it's very strange to find a Spiker in a lot with very, very common games, yes, the seller is not an Intv collector and he don't know anything about it, but would be nice to know how the seller got it...And would be nice to see more pics of it, could be a reprobox. I tried to ask something at the seller, without any reply...
-
Nevermind Makke , i found it.

Surely you have all seen this by now. A Spiker has reared its ugly head after a long spell of nothing.
I have mine that i paid 1,100 for and Makke bought one for 1,800.....so i guess 1,500 isnt a bad price?

My stupid record is unbeatable
I have also the "certification" of it in the Valter's guide! The last Spiker was sold for almost 1500$...But this one seems not in great shape...
But i've seen something really, really nice...And i'm not the only one to watch it

so I need to add Aurimat to the Guide!
this is a big finding, what about an Aurimat catalog???
well, these 4 games all come from mercado libre, the mexican ebay. not spain i think?
and what about an Aurimat logo?
do we know anithing of this distributor?
Here there's a story about the alliance between Mattel and Aurimat, seems that Aurimat made a lot of Mexican "Barbie variants" very valuable for dolls collectors...
flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157619757996710/
In my opinion the Aurimat variants are not so attractive like the Digiplay, Sears, French/Canadian or Bandai (only for the wonderful Japanese instructions), a single sticker on a regular box doesn't give them a collectible value...

but it seems they also put inside a mexican manual... that's the point
Yes, but the booklets looks like the regular ones, like the italian instructions for example. If you want to fall down in the magma of the hundreds different Mattel variants, the Mexicans games could be a nice stuff to collect...Depends from your collector point of view: my thought about the variants is to collect Sears, Digiplay, Bandai, French, then the 50+ Coleco variants and then (...if i'll still alive
) the Mattel variants. I like very much the goal of Cmart, as he writes in another post he wants to collect the first release of the regular 125 games, it's a nice way to collect the Mattel variants.
There's a lack of information about the hundreds Mattel variants, there's only Intv Funhouse as a reference point for a collector like me...It's very hard for me to jump in the sea of Mattel variants and i believe i'm not alone in this thought.
I hope that Cmart, Rev with his new wonderful site and obviously you Valter (you are not so far from my home
) could help me and the other collectors to shed light with a new and updated list of every variations...Please!

I've read something about that stickers, a sort of brand of the Mexican Mattel distributor called Aurimat. I believe that every Mexican Inty game has a sticker like that, including third party games. I've seen a lot of them in Mercadolivre.
By the way the Spanish instructions are really cool!!!

Stanotte lavoro fino alle 3...Dopo qualche ora ho il treno per la Sicilia a raggiungere moglie e figlia...Brinderò alla vostra per il miglior Natale e buon anno possibile!
-
Yes, it's a bit expensive...
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130607099705
He's my best contact for japanese stuff, i'm not so interested on it, especially at that price, but it's a great item...What do you think about the price???

SEALED INTELLIVISION!!!! This is the third one I have ever seen in my years of Intellivision! Luckily, I got mine for $50. This one is at $152.50. I would go for this one! Pretty rare! eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260884376161
Me thinks this may go higher.

I agree

-
Obviously it depending by the costs and by the development of the new games (i'll buy it in every case
)...But if you want to make it real, this is the best time to do it. Now or never Valter!!! -

concordo
e a te MAKKE ... benvenuto

noiosamente monotematico sull'Intellivision....mmmm.... Pace, I suppose...

Tutorvision is the true Intellivision holy grail.
There are only 3 of them and only 2 working.
Anyway I must admit that I know very few people with a fully working Keyboard Component (the tape driver is usually broken in most of them), I don't think that there are more than 10 left in the world.
Alex, in your collection page http://www.gamescollection.it/collections/a/138 there's a picture of the white Intellivision, another true holy grail. I've seen another picture of it with the brown controller. Have you got some info about its origin?
If you find a Tutorvision...What is the value for you???

From my "childood memories" Atlantis made me nervous...I was intrigued by Microsurgeon, Truckin and Sword&Serpents, but my favourites were White Water and Ice Trek.
Actually i'm coming back to play Atlantis, definitely a great game!
-
@cmart - :DDDDDDDD Is that Alex's, or whose is it? That is nice!
@makke - So it was repaired? Was it the tape drive? I heard that is hard to fix. Can you post some pictures?
The KC is perfect now, was a little connection problem (frankly, i gave my KC in the hands of my friend and i have only prayed in a dark corner of my house...), the tape is in really good shape! I'll post some pics soon...When that dark corner will be finally ready to host my collection
