  1. I'll try it in the Gemini when I have a chance. I bought mine from The Brewing Academy. I'll have to see if there's an exchange program or something.
  2. Bumping for assistance. I have tried it on several monitors and my old CRT, still getting the same result. I just completed a Coleco Gemini modded with a UAV and it worked perfectly. For the Jr. I'm not sure where to start.
  3. I just installed a UAV in my Atari 2600 Jr. I removed the 4050 to install it, tapping the via under R28 for Color In, per the installation instructions. Audio tapped from the A3 via. No other components have been removed from the board. Putting it back together to test it, I noticed that what should be black in color, it's gray instead. I attached a pic of the Joust title screen. The background should be black (IIRC). Both S-Video and Composite show this. I also attached a pic of the UAV install. I do have the UAV socketed, but I may change that since it doesn't sit properly in the case. It's been a while since I powered this console on, so I don't recall if it did show the right colors in the first place. Any help in solving this issue is appreciated. Thanks all!
  4. I found my old TV Boy while cleaning my collection container. It still works, but I'm done using RF for anything. Anyone with one of these have done an A/V mod to it, or even if it's possible?
  5. http://markup.io/v/1rcryyr6fvmp TIA Location? (borrowed from another thread) As for the 6er, I don't know. I have an Atari Flashback 2 that I wanted to cart slot mod for a while, but the only thing holding me back is the whole glitching/res (Asteroids - missing ship) problem using it on HDTVs. Other than getting a CRT TV just to play 2600 games OR reverting to emulation on the Wii or PC, is there any possible fix for that, or is that only while playing the pre loaded games on the Flashback 2?
  6. I do have a Coleco Gemini that works fine. I've been planning on doing an A/V mod on it. Can anyone who owns this and has done an A/V mod for it point out the TIA? And do I assume that the pinout on the Gemini would be the same as a standard 2600? And, as n00b as I am, could someone point out on the 6 swticher where the Stella chip lies?
  7. Well, at this point I was gonna try anything, but if the Stella chip is bad, is it worth it to try to replace it?
  8. For what it's worth, when I had it running on RF, it was still missing elements from the game.
  9. I still have that 6er that I've tried to A/V Mod, which I've finally finished, but here's the thing. Take, for example, Superman. The backgrounds (buildings, gap by the bridge, are all gone. In Donkey Kong, the girders are missing. E.T (don't ask, I just had it lying around), all the pitfalls are gone. Berzerk didn't have any walls. I also noticed vertical lines missing from the characters. Any way I can fix this? What needs to be replaced? Any help is great. Thanks!
  10. Hi all. Noob here. I just unburied my Sears Tele-Games heavy sixer from decades of non use. I'm trying to restore it to it's former glory with the addition with at least a composite connection. I'm taking the more frugal route to this mod, hence the search to Ben's mods. I'm trying to wrap my head around the mod, though. I'd like to do the rev2 mod (http://benheck.com/book/support/Atari2600VidMod.htm) over Ben's original mod (http://forums.benheck.com/viewtopic.php?t=1151). The pics in the rev2 mod show (from what I can conjure up from other pics) the 4 switch Atari. I'm trying to figure out which components need to be removed on the sixer. Can anyone help a noob with applying the rev2 mod on a heavy sixer? I'm all about getting clean(er) audio and video on my Atari. Also, I have a Coleco Gemini that I'd like to AV mod in the near future. Anyone can help with the pinpoints with that? Again, I've scoured Google for hours, and I come out with nothing other than a post that was done here. Thanks, all!
