Hello all, i have a switchless modded snes that im looking to trade for a snes mini. It works perfectly, the reason for the trade is because i have a snes powerpak and i dont need to switch between regions. Also i cant use the save feature due to when you hold the reset switch it cycles through the regions. Im just looking for the console. Thanks Scott

Where Did You Get Your First Atari 2600 and What Type Was it?
snstay replied to TheAtarianGuy's topic in Atari 2600
I was never had one growing up, my parents got us an intellivision instead. Then it was all about the nes and snes for a while. Then only a couple years ago i found out about the harmony cart and naturally needed something to play it on. So i purchased a light sixer from fellow AA member and all around good egg Chris Leach. Since then ive been hooked modding it with s-video, pause, and a led light. Now all i need is some overlays for certain controllers and i think ill be topped off as far as atari gose. And thats my story. Scott -
Sure would be fun to see if it comes to that though.

Wow you wernt kidding when you said huge update. Awesome job!!!! Scott

If you have the board already this one is the easiest to follow. But it dose have s-video. But its easy enough to do just for future proofing if you do get a tv that supports s-video. I have a modded 70s porno version and the s-video picture is alot better than just composite. Hope you get it going. Scott http://longhornengineer.com/diy/atarivideomods/2600-junior-ntsc/

yes and if you are going to have it open anyways you might as well do it.

I have an rca and it works great. With plenty of jacks for everything and one s-video that i hook a switcher up to for my games. I didnt see in any posts to tell him he should get one with a bowed front for light gun games.

I like the 7800 but the colors are more dull and not as crisp as the 2600. Plus the harmony was made for the 2600 and until we get a 7800 version ill stick with the 2600. scott

Looks good, how about a grayish color for the dreaded clock tower.

Atari flashback 4 possible mod
snstay replied to snstay's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Ah i see. -
I may be out of the loop but i just seen the flashback 4 with wireless controllers. I was wondering if you could take the sensor out of one and install it in a real atari. I think it would be cool but yes an expensive endevure. Scott
