  1. I have a CIB Intellivision keyboard Synth with adapter/interface and CIB 9/10 melody Blaster. Does anyone know the value of these items? the keyboard is in box (8/10) complete and like new in plastic and the melody blaster is CIB and the box 9/10 contents are 9.5/10 so i guess like new. Sorry to ask on someone elses thread, i just noticed that a few people need the Melody Blaster CIB. I may able to trade but would need very rare Atari games as i'm guessing the keyboard and software are worth a few bucks, The keyboard is the Brown version and fully working - i'll attach some pics tomorrow. I think u.k - U.S postage on the 49 key Synth would be around $60 *the Melody Blaster would be $10 to post. Thanks Antony
  2. tiendaatari i did not say or indeed imply that the "taiwanese gentleman" that made these cartridges without a license" may of hacked the games himself to reduce the size of certain games, that's crazy I asked if its possible that hacked games with graphics missing can reduce a games original size but i imagine not by much as you say. The hacked games on the multi-carts already existed before they were compiled. i'm not suggesting the "Taiwanese bootlegger" hacked the games himself. Some things get lost in translation.
  3. i'm not sure if this matters but some of the "hacks" have altered graphics (less detail) could this decrease the game from 4k to 3k for example? if the code has been altered. I think you are right tiendaatari *there's not the exact amount of games that is being claimed. My 128 in 1 has more like 90 games. I'll check my 160 again but its boring work. It should be possible to fit almost 160 games onto 512k with 48 2k games and the rest 3 to 4 k.
  4. i will check my 256 in 1 cart and count the games (boring) but this will help clarify the matter
  5. wow a lot to read. I only just noticed this thread had more contributions. - thanks tiendaatari *Not all Atari 2600 games are 4k in 1977 most a games were only 2k 2 switch = 4 position x (min)32 games per bank = 160 games. A game like River Raid is 4k but these games are ALL 2k so it is possible for 160 games with 4 bank switch positions? 3D Tic-Tac-Toe A Game of Concentration Air-Sea Battle Basic Math Basketball Black Jack Bowling Boxing (Activision) Brain Games Breakout Canyon Bomber Checkers (Activision) Codebreaker Combat Cosmic Swarm (Commavid) Dragster (Activision) Fishing Derby (Activision) Flag Capture Football Golf Home Run Human Cannonball Indy 500 Kaboom! (Activision) Laser Blast (Activision) Magicard (Commavid) Miniature Golf Night Driver Othello Outlaw Skeet Shoot (Apollo) Skiing (Activision) Sky Diver Slot Machine Slot Racers Space Jockey (U.S. Games) Space War Stampede Steeplechase (Sears) Street Racer Surround Tennis (Activision) Video Life (Commavid) Video Olympics
  6. Thanks "tiendaatari" ive found a boxed complete "FunVision" very nice quality for a clone and indeed from Spain as you say. *I actually prefer the FunVision push down buttons to the Atari jr. switch type which always feel loose.
  7. Iv'e found (well seen) one before boxed! a few years ago but not owned one as the seller wound't post to the U.K rare! and the granddaddy indeed. or is there a great granddaddy? 512 games? I know they have been made using 2 x 1 meg EPROM chips but maybe not a V case, that would be cool though!
  8. very cool! i really like the 192 in 1 and "208 in 1" with the Volleyball artwork. I like the fact that the label graphics bare no resemblance to Atari games ha ha I've been after a 256 in 1 if you have one to trade i'm interested or to sell? Antony
  9. hi, Rom Hunter - top label says 160 in 1 you should be able to see the pics on this thread? so hopefully this one is at the top of the family tree! unless I find a "256 in 1" V case. Stranger things have happened. I'll send you a close up of the cart as well. Tom - sorry you missed this one I don't trade to make money but unfortunately i paid just under £30 with high shipping from Spain at 15 Euros so its $50 trade value to me. It is after all the daddy of the V case multi carts. It was hard finding this one from Spain (and even harder negotiating postage and pricing) most are 16 in 1, 32 in 1 and 64 in 1 which are all common and about $25 as you say CIB. so I perhaps I payed top end, although I just sold the loose 128 in 1 for £40 that's $60 so the 160 in 1 should not have struggled to get the same. I guess if someone offered me a $40 game like "Spy Hunter" or "Up and down" loose, i would have gone for that so i'm flexible. I've found another CIB multi-cart 9/10 condition for the MATRA clone system (2600 compatible of course!) so I will be posting that for trade, that one cost me £20 so not quite as much. This time with £10($15) shipping. If i saved up my postage cost i could probably fly to some of these countries and still save money on postage. Thanks for everyone's Interest in these.
  10. hey Tom, the 160 in 1 CIB (attached) went to your V-shape collecting friends Dave for trade..but i'll give you a heads up if i find anymore on a first refusal basis.
  11. hello all, here is my "Exciting 160 in 1" box serial-2402-160 Up for trade! The cart is very nice 8/10 with 7/10 box *some light wear to the sides and sun fading to the top flap but very good all the same. Comes complete with games list which is creased but very useful. The cart has 3 bank switches. some games i'm interested in: SEGA games CIB: Buck Rogers, Star Trek,Thunderground or Tac-Scan would be nice, not so bothered about Congo or Sub Scan Boxed or loose: Up and Down, Tapper or Spy Hunter All 20th century fox games CIB: in particular: Alien, TURMOIL, Beany Bopper ,Spacemaster X-7 and Earth dies Screaming CIB River Patrol (joke) All fare trades will be considered. This game cost me 30 Euros with postage so not a cheap job lot find and would say its valued at $50+CIB in my opinion and i have experience collecting PAL games so know about values/rarity in Europe. Not always easy finds thesea nd has some very rare games not just cheap hacks. Although there is a game where a small boy rides a giant chicken! so a few hacks slipped through the net. I've only mentioned value so don't get silly loose cart offers to save you wasting your time but i'm not greedy. I know only certain PAL collectors want these. i'll see if i can find the games list on-line rather than type one..
  12. oh and PAL games for trade are cool of course. I'm in the U.K but know most of you are in the states, i collect both formats. Antony
  13. hey, thanks for the tip stargunner. I was thinking of trading them here. Unfortunately i was charged silly postage from Spain (registered mail) so they wont be as cheap as i would like so would need a decent R5+ CIB games,SEGA titles would be nice ; ) or anything interesting NTSC is fine. No frills100 - mine is a V-shape cart but not the boxing label one, i have one of those in a little box in my earlier content. I've attached a photo the cart includes mostly rare games including Z-tack, Missile Control, Buck Rogers, Save our ship, Condor Attack etc..but a full list is included with the box. How do i attach an image? aghhh i cant remember although did it yesterday
  14. hey, thanks to no frills100 and Stargunner for the pics. Looks like there's no shortage of them in Italy and nice to see the boxes, crude as they are. I wonder what game picture was on the 128 in 1 box. I'm pleased to have one with so many cool games. I know some multi-carts are cheaply made but these carts seem pretty solid. I think they dropped the standards on the boxes though! looks like an 8 year old made them for a school project ha ha I have a cool CIB 160 in 1 V-shape multi to upload as well.. cheers guys
  15. wow! I have dreams about finding games like this in a charity shop or "thrift store" if i'm in the U.S - whilst i'm dreaming I may as well make it a holiday. Amazing pics! I can add this Atari Mania multi-cart "16 super jogos" also from Brazil and on your list - the games have MANIA and J&B (Jamar&Beth) written into the games code which i will upload photos of. e.g. on Beamrider Mania - J & B scrolls across the bottom. 16 Super Jogos - Beamrider / Frontline / Jungle Hunt / HERO / Moon Patrol / Moonsweeper / Ms. Pac Man / Phoenix / Smurfs / Subterranea / Vanguard / Zaxxon / Pole Position / Kangaroo / Pressure Cooker / Kung Fu Master not sure if my attachment worked? i'm new here, still getting to grips
  16. Here we have a 128 in 1 multi cart, with some very rare games on a 512k chip. The cart has 7 dip switches on the front. You can also see that the cart could have been used as a 14 dip-switch 256 in 1 as there's a further 7 dip-switch holes covered by the label without switches and a lot of the games are 4k. I think the game list is the same as the 128 in 1 Atari 2600 Jr listed HERE: http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/128in1.html?SystemID=2600 Anyone know the manufacturer?
  17. Many thanks to "Rom Hunter" for the info. This particular 160 in 1 "SUPER" is already listed on the Atarimania database. I so have a few more that you might need label scans of. Including Atarimana "16 Super Jogos" mine is documented but without a label scan. Anyone wishing to trade on any of my multi carts? i'm interested, just make some R5+ game offers. PAL Espial would be nice he he ; ) NTSC games are fine also. I've attached my Atarimania 16 in 1 for ROM Hunter/Atarimania what a great multi! includes: Beamrider / Frontline / Jungle Hunt / HERO / Moon Patrol / Moonsweeper / Ms. Pac Man / Phoenix / Smurfs / Subterranea / Vanguard / Zaxxon / Pole Position / Kangaroo / Pressure Cooker / Kung Fu Master I'll also write a short follow-up about the Atarimania cart as its' very cool indeed. Antony
  18. Hi everyone! I'm a UK Atari collector and have found some interesting multi-carts with dip switches; two with 160 games one with 128. Any info as far as rarity? would be great, i'm guessing they are not mega rare, more of a quirk but all thee of the carts have mostly rare games on board, rather than the usual cheap hacks like with marples/fantastic game which are pretty boring. Even "Missile control" Gas Hog" "Save our ship" and many other rare games are on the carts. One is in a tiny box which i thought was cool (attached) In one of the games you get to see a small boy ride a giant chicken! or is a tiny boy riding a normal size chicken!? that's just one of the mysteries that no one needs the answer to. I think that games aptly titled "Chicken Freeway" Anyway...I thought you might find them interesting - i also found some unusual Atari clone systems with built in games by Funvision (boxed) and "LAVIS" so will be posting pictures of those soon for all you folks into your PAL oddities. one clone appears NTSC and has 160 games built in, probably from Brazil. more to follow.. Antony
  19. hello, i'm new to AA but have been collecting Atari 2600 games for 6 years now in the UK and apart from finding a few protos I also stumbled across a XzentriX 2003 Homebrew (code by Eckhard Stolberg). I actually contacted Eckhard who kindly explained that he adapted a scrolling txt demo from 1999 and posted it on a stella mailing list and XzentriX used it to make a few demo carts for the XzentriX retro game fair: held *12-14 September 2003 (Seeshaupt Germany) and that only 8 copies were made. *The info below was from Eckhard Stolbergs' e-mail (on the cart Eckhards surname is spelt wrong ("Stollberg" = whoops!) "story to the scroller demo. In 1999 John K. Harvey had released a scrolling text cartridge that people could order with a customised text. He had posted a message about it on the Stella mailing list. His cartridge only showed a small scroller, could hold very little text and required a special PC program to encode the text into the binary. So the programmers on the list made some suggestions for improvements. But John said, that the scroller program was just a byproduct of something else he was working on and served it's purpose just fine for him. He didn't mind if anyone who wanted a better version just wrote it himself. Since I was curious how much text I could fit into a 4KB binary if I used a bigger scrolling display and normal ASCII text, I spend two or three evenings programming. When the demo looked nice enough for me and I could fit about 3KB of text, I posted the code to the Stella mailing list and that was it. I think I just called it scrolldemo and never intended to use it for anything else." Anyway... I thought it perhaps rare to some extent as it was produced in very ltd numbers. More than anything i wanted to share it with the AA community and upload the cart and a screen shot. It has a nicely designed label which is cool (glue shows through which is a shame) nice find i thought... Oh! and it works ; ) Thanks Antony
