  1. Futurama does the best video game parodies. Here is the latest from last week's season finale. http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=395854&title=future-challenge-3000-new&xrs=share_copy Try to find the whole episode to see the rest. It's worth finding!
  2. Cool, Joe Montana is 2403 and Greendog is 2429 (both numbers were unused so far so I assume they are correct). Super Battletank was the Majesco UPC unfortunately. Thanks!
  3. Looking for a few US Sega product numbers for Game Gear games. There are 4 digit numbers that start with a 2, usually found on the side of the box, the back of the box, or in UPC number. Once in a while they are on the cartridge, but most of the time the cartridge has 670-xxxx numbers that are just the label part number. PAL games share the same numbers as the US games, so getting the number from a PAL box's UPC symbol is also OK. Can anyone supply the 2xxx numbers for these games? Thanks! Berenstain Bears' Camping Adventure, The Desert Speedtrap Starring Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote Joe Montana Football Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! Super Battletank (not the Majesco re-release)
  4. An oldie but a goodie: http://my.execpc.com/~krieg/VidGames.htm All the US games are on there, but not the imports.
  5. I raised this issue way back in the 90's on Usenet. I received 2 answers back then: 1) Replace the chroma/saturation circuit in the 7800. 2) Adjust the color pot for the 2600 in the 7800 (supposedly it has 2 pots, one for 7800 games and one for 2600). I never bothered doing either. I noticed the difference when I finally hooked up a 2600jr after exclusively playing 2600 games on my 7800 for many, many years. I stuck with the 2600jr because I didn't have to alter carts (like the Tigervision games) that wouldn't fit in the 7800 anyway.
