I think I registered to the Atari age waitlist twice. I think I did it a while back but I wasn't sure. So I did it again I think with the same email I used previously. When going through the list, I assume it'll go by the earliest time I was added to the list? Or does me and put on a list again push me back on the list?

It'll go by the earliest time you were added to the list.

Can't wait to play Last Strike and Rebooted.

I can't wait to ship them out!

I was supposed to have a THIRD round of manuals today (the Jaguar manuals are turning out to be a big pain this round, as the printer is having problems getting the black on the manuals just right), and of course they didn't make it onto the FedEx truck even though I paid extra to have them sent overnight (they shipped Friday) and they were AT the facility this morning, so no idea why they weren't loaded onto a truck.

That did have a big "0" on the left, meaning they were going to be delivered today, and now it just states "Delivery date unknown", so that's helpful.  I should also have the label proofs soon.  And I'm waiting on the Last Strike Soundtrack CDs.  Look forward to getting those!  This will be the first soundtrack CD we've made for a game, and I'm sure there will be more down the road.  I've wanted to do one for 2600 homebrews for some time, so if this one works out well I'll probably get that one moving along.  :)

  3. I had 10" x 14" posters printed for Venture Reloaded, and they will be included free with the game!  This isn't mentioned on the store page for the game yet.  :)  Here's a photo after I opened the box to examine them!

  4. I think there's a fair number with this particular label out there.  The game was even sold in the AtariAge Store for a short while.  We also had a label contest that was won by Earl Green with a completely different label.  This was all back in 2002, so my memory is a bit fuzzy on the exact order of events and which label was used first.

Thanks for the update, went to get a couple Voxes and hadn't noticed there wasn't any heh. Keep on making them, bought Wizard of Wor today and it's going to be not so chatty unless I get a Vox. ;)

Oh, thanks for that, I have plenty of parts to build AtariVoxes now, so I need to update the stock!

I thought this was a discussion forum

Sure, but this particular thread is for factual information about the Atari VCS.  There are plenty of other of other Atari VCS topics in this forum if you want to discuss the system in other ways.

  7. Guys, if you cannot discuss this topic in a civil manner, I will remove your posts and permanently eject you from this and other Atari VCS-related threads.

I will not continue to post warnings.

I hope you get a good discount.

I don't believe the theme has to be recreated from the ground up, and there were quite a few revisions when this theme was created initially, so it won't be nearly as expensive (was well over $500 to create this theme).

I'm pretty sure Al said recently that he only got something like 80 units for this current batch of emails that went out, while the wait list is at least 600 strong (probably a lot more, I'm guessing). If you didn't get an email, then you're higher up on the list.

Correct, I had 80 for this first batch, and the waiting list has over a thousand people on it (and this is after culling duplicates where people submitted themselves more than once).

My cart is ordered, but I am assuming it is waiting shipment for the Adventure II XE that I ordered along with it.  Got to give the 8bit some love!

Yeah, once I have the boxes, manuals and labels for Adventure II XE (they are all ordered), I can then ship your Jaguar GameDrive and Adventure II XE together.  :)

    Again?

Yeah, they made significant enough changes to the theming, so it needs to be recreated.  Probably will pay the same theme designer I used last time to update it again.

  12. Just wanted to say thank you for all the birthday wishes!  I somehow completely missed this thread when it was initially posted and only just now saw it!  I noticed it just now because I have a copy of the forum setup on a development server so I can work on upgrading the forum to the latest version (we are on 4.4.x and I need to update the forum to 4.5.4, which is a mildly significant upgrade):

That's the stock Invision skin, as I have to redo the forum skin from scratch!!  Fun fun!

Again, thank you everyone, much appreciated!

I too checked out, without choosing the box and bigger instructions option. I emailed support about it, but haven't heard back from them. I'd sure would love to add this option to my order, if possible. I was too excited and thought I'd "run out of time". Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I responded to the PM you just sent.

I know that myself and a couple other (lovingly) annoying folks were asking for an NES sub grouo for quite some time. A shame I suppose that it was precipitated by the closure of NA forums, but I won't complain. And the moderation here is much, much better so I would think the same kind of fooslishNES from over there won't be much tolerated here.

Thanks very much, Albert and company!

I did create NES and SNES forums several days ago. And I moved a bunch of relevant threads into each of them. Do need to move more when I have time.
