  1. Yeah, let's get away from that as well, I'm getting tired of it. Thank you, ..Al
  2. There's a lot of poor information about Tesla here. LOL especially on "cult following". Tesla has already sold over one million cars globally and is actively building three new factories, including one here in Austin. That's some cult, there.. Please get back on topic. ..Al
  3. If you don't have anything positive to contribute to this thread and only want to be negative and overly critical without making a reasonable effort to defend your position, please find another thread to post in. Calling other members "stupid" or other names for their opinions will also get you booted instantly from this thread. ..Al
  4. I have never had anyone else report this to me, and I've been selling many Melody games into PAL markets for years. Star Castle Arcade is not a Melody-based game, but uses our Aria board. The Aria board uses a less advanced ARM chip, and it only uses it to support more complex bankswitching methods (such as those requiring additional RAM, like SARA-based games). I imagine if this was a prevalent issue, I would have heard it by now. If anyone else has experienced this issue, I'd certainly like to hear about it. ..Al
  5. I'm expecting to have the first batch of Jaguar GameDrives in a week. I will be contacting people privately in the order they are on the waiting list with instructions on how to order. If you're not yet on the waiting list, you can sign up here: Atari Jaguar GameDrive Waiting List Signup We're working on the next slate of Jaguar games, which we hope to add to the store in March. We'll post news about them next month or in February. ..Al
  6. They unfortunately will not be shipped until January. Still waiting on the manuals and labels. Will have a second round of physical manual proofs soon (three of the above manuals have minor revisions), and waiting on the label proofs as well. Once those are all good, it won't long to get the full production run of manuals and labels. As soon as they arrive, I'll be shipping these pre-orders out immediately. .Al
  7. I found the packages that are still in transit..
  8. I wouldn't be so sure of that at the moment.... ..Al
  9. Ha, you're not kidding. I did search for "atari general" (without the quotes) on Google (not an image search) and the new forum is on the first page of results, so that's good. Not that I expect people to ever search for that. ..Al
  10. Besides adding the Atari General forum and the three new System forums (Atari VCS, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series S/X), I just organized things a bit better so it's easier to see forums that were "buried" previously. I've wanted to do that for a while. ..Al
  11. You can use the Atari General forum I created yesterday for that. That's a forum that really should have existed from the beginning! ..Al
  12. Well, it's intended to be used with the forum online, and normally it's not a big deal (for instance, if I create a new forum, rename a forum, change the description of a forum, change permissions, etc.) But messing with a whole bunch of forums at once, which also SHOULD have been okay, quickly made me regret doing so while the forum was online. ..Al
  13. Overall the forum CMS is fairly good. But that's the first time with this version of the forum software I've moved so many forums around, and I was quite surprised to see how quickly it managed to make a mess of things! I now know to be super careful with it in the future. Especially if the forum is online when I'm doing it! ..Al
  14. You should have seen me freaking out when I discovered how obscenely buggy the administration page for creating and organizing forums is, and that it had moved a TON of forums into the incorrect categories and I had to fix them all. And even worse, when I moved some forums that contained sub-forums to the root (such as "Modern Gaming"), it converted those forums to Categories. At the root level of the forum, categories can only contain additional forums, they cannot themselves be a forum. This resulted in those forums suddenly losing ALL their threads. I nearly pooped myself when I discovered what was happening. Fortunately, moving those forums back into a root category, and then changing that moved "category" back to a forum restored the posts. For a few minutes there I thought I was going to have to restore the forum database from the overnight backup. ..Al
  15. Possibly because of NintendoAge, and there didn't seem to be much of a desire for them at the time. But that's obviously changed now. ..Al
  16. You're right, those are pretty big omissions. There's even an NES High Score Club, but no NES forum. ..Al
  17. Those are all good ideas for forums, I'll get right on that. Done. ..Al
  18. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no way to "merge" multiple forums together. Also, at this time I wouldn't want to merge the PS4 and XB1 forums with others, as they are still the current "modern" consoles that many people have, and it'll be a while before the PS5 and Series S/X gain enough of a foothold to displace them. That's something I can explore down the road, especially if there are tools available to help merge forums. I'm not a big fan of "lots of forum subdivision", but it was time to try and organize the various console and computing forums a bit better. They were all clumped under one category, and they were all nested more than they needed to be. Meaning new users would have a harder time finding some of those forums if they didn't take the time to poke around. So now there are "Classic Consoles", "Classic Computers", "Modern Consoles", and "Gaming General" groups so they are all better organized than they were previously. It does make the front page of the forum taller, though, but also makes many of those forums considerably more visible than they were previously. ..Al
  19. I mostly have it stabilized now. The gaming and computing forums are better logically organized. ..Al
  20. Man, the backend interface for managing the forums like this is a freaking mess!!! ..Al
  21. I'm busy moving forums around at the moment to improve the organization. There will be root categories for Classic Consoles, Classic Computing, Modern Consoles, and Classic Gaming General to cover forums that don't fit into those categories. ..Al
  22. Done! I also created forums for the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. ..Al
  23. Just purchased the Collector's Edition, which I meant to do earlier but had forgotten. Can never have enough cloth maps. I'm a huge Ultima fan, and even had all the Ultima maps on my wall at Ion Storm a long time ago (and Richard Garriott, who lives here in Austin, dropped by our office a few times and got to see this in my office.. sadly this was before the time of cell phones with cameras, so I didn't get a photo of him looking at them.. <Grin>). Also love that Lord British is in the game. Look forward to playing when I have some time, looks like you guys did a great job of mimicking the old-school Ultima feel! ..Al
