Invision totally screwed the pooch with a security patch they issued this morning. Of course, I applied it right before heading out the door, without testing it, and I was away from the computer until 12 hours later (which is pretty unusual in my case). Not too happy about that, sorry for the inconvenience in not being able to respond to PMs. ..Al

Yes, an Atari 8-bit version. It would take significantly more work to port this to another platform entirely. Atari 8-bit fans are not going to be disappointed. ..Al

Thank you for saying this, I was about to but you beat me to it. Personally I feel the original signature should remain and the person doing the conversion should not be altering the image aside from doing the actual "conversion". Why does this poll allow multiple choices? ..Al

Since you got it for 12 pounds shipped and it does boot up, I would keep it and try to replace the internal drive (or possibly repair it). I would leave negative feedback for the seller, though, due to the poor packaging. It's possible the machine was perfectly fine (working drive, no crack) before it was shipped. I'm sure the seller was disappointed it sold only for a pound, but that's no excuse for using no packing materials inside the box. ..Al

The current reputation system allows you to "downvote" posts but I have that disabled as I don't think everyone is mature enough to use it as intended.. ..Al

The forum software itself has not changed as far as this goes, but Invision is going to make significant changes/improvements in version 3.2. It looks like they made add a "Like" system where you can say you "Like" a particular post, and then you can see everyone else who also likes that post. They have also stated they are going to beef up the reputation system, but it's not clear yet what's ultimately going to change. There are various mods that add features to the reputation system and I will be investigating them. ..Al
