  4. Bump! A few are sold, but still many games left!
  5. I figured out what the problem is now! After taking a closer look I saw that one of the pins in the controller port was pushed back a little bit so that it touched one of the other pins and making it act like two buttons was pushed down! So i took some small pliers and pulled out the pin a bit so it's fine now! Guess some problems are very simple sometimes, LOL, I thought it was some chip or something that had gone bad at first... XD
  6. I tried to replace the cap that sits right behind the controller port but that did not work, so i desoldered the HEX chip and put in another one i have and now it works fine! thanks for the help!
  7. Zylon: You mean like one of the caps that sits right behind the controller port? And aha yeah, or mabye it is the HEX chip, but guess i try to replace the cap first and see if it gets better. Jason_Atari: I am not sure, i just tested the console a little before i modded it to see if it powered up and stuff, but guess it mabye was like that before.
  8. Both original 2600 joysticks and 7800 controllers, does not matter what controller i use it seems :/
  9. When i press down on player one's joystick on my PAL 7800 it acts like im pressing both down and fire at the exact same time! It is the same problem with both 7800 and 2600 games, anyone has an idea what might be wrong? I tried diffrent controllers but it's the same problem Hope someone can help!
  10. A PAL 6 switch Atari 2600 console I have is acting weird, the whole screen flashes when you press the fire button on player two's controller, and when you hold the button down you can see the picture like get a little bit brigther, and as soon as you let the button go it's normal again. I have tried diffrent controllers and swapped out the three main chips, the CPU, RIOT and TIA, but I still got the same problem. Anybody have an idea what the problem might be? Everything else works fine with the console except that. And it is AV modded btw if that has anything to do with it, it's modded with a transistor and two resistors.

  12. Did the composite signal work well? And does someone know if i can get a composite signal from this similar console beacuse the RF signal on mine is very poor, It is called like Programmable TV game, Adman Grandstand or Soundic etc. Seems there are a bunch of cables inside going from the main circuit board to a separate smaller circuit board where the RF cable is sitting, i tested each of those cables and see if i could get a composite signal and i kinda got a signal when i touched the cable seen in the picuture here: http://oi67.tinypic.com/1262y2u.jpg But everything was quite dark and just grey and i got no color, and there seems to not be one of those ay-3-8615 color chips in the console, but the console does have color tho when i hooked it up through RF. Is it possible to get a nice picture and color from this one through composite? Mabye there are more cables that needs to be combined in order to get a better signal? or? Hope someone could help with this! And here is the RF circuit board also: http://oi68.tinypic.com/11lspaw.jpg
