  1. I'll post here when I receive Globetrotter. I can't guarantee updates while I'm in China, but I'll try and post at least once. From what I've read, most large Chinese cities these days have internet cafes. --Jason
  2. I think it costs 15 cents a pic on Ebay after the first one. So far, the winning bid won't even cover the cost of posting all those pictures! --Jason
  3. I just didn't have the money to order this back in February. I do hope that more will be made in the future. --Jason
  4. Only a few more hours to go in this one of a kind Sears auction! Don't miss out! --Jason
  5. I gotta disagree here, because I thought Mario Bros. was absolutely horrible on 2600. The Commodore 64 version is excellent however, so try and track that one down. Better yet, play it on Mame, as the arcade version is fantastic and the most challenging. Basically you need to hit your enemies from beneath then jump up to the level they're on and kick them off before they wake up. It's an interesting idea that is not well executed on the 2600. --Jason
  6. WOO HOO! I'll be playing Arkanoid all next week!! --Jason
  7. Ugh, I can't stand this waiting! I ordered mine a couple weeks ago, how long after PC5 will they be mailed? --Jason
  8. I agree, Kool-Aid Man is a pretty good game. --Jason
  9. It was a long shot, but I've seen crazier things happen on Ebay. --Jason
  10. That was fast. The BIN is gone. Have fun people! --Jason
  11. I'm trying to raise a little spending money for my vacation next month, so some of my Atari collection is going on the block. My premier auction at the moment is all nine of the original Sears games, each with the gatefold box and instructions. These gatefolds pop up from time to time, but I've never seen them all sold at once. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 Everything is explained in the auction, but I want to repeat a few points here. 1. Don't ask me to end the auction early, I won't do it. 2. Don't ask me to split this lot up. I won't do it. 3. If you really want to end the auction early, use BIN. If you think the BIN is too high, not a problem. There is no reserve on this auction, and I can't imagine any that serious Atari collector will claim my starting bid of $25.00 is unreasonable. I'll also have a few Rarity 5 & 6 games up shortly, including Gremlins and London Blitz with instructions. Good luck! --Jason
  12. Eggomania--That stupid bird dances around and grins at you maniacally when you lose. --Jason
  13. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45489 --Jason
  14. I'm finally posting a couple pictures of this Riddle of the Sphinx text label cart. I had buried it back in my closet and I just dug it out again this afternoon. The label actually seems to be in several languages. You can see the instructions are also printed in French if you look very closely at the second picture. Any comments? --Jason
  15. I've still got 27 auctions going that all end in the next few hours. Nothing rare, there are still some fun games available. Check'em out! --Jason
  16. Those games may be common, but three of them (Space Invaders, Missile Command, and Yars' Revenge) are very, very good. Other common games, like Pitfall!, go for $10 more than you might think. --Jason
  17. I voted Pacman, but on further reflection, I'm not surprised that Tetris is leading. We've entered an era (if we have not already been in it for several years) in which a significant number of the people playing video games were not even alive when Pacman was released. Also, Tetris is a harder game to 'screw up'. Many excellent versions of Tetris have been released for home consoles, handhelds, and PC's as well as in the arcade. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Pacman. Maybe I'm being over-protective of my all time favorite arcade game, but few, if any, of the later releases of Pacman truly captured the 'feel' and gameplay of the original. In the arcade, Pacman ruled. At home, I think Tetris was the better game. --Jason
  18. I have a bunch of Atari 2600 auctions running that will end tonight and over the weekend. There's nothing I can honestly call 'rare', but these games are in good shape, many come with instructions, and my shipping rates are reasonable compared to some sellers I've seen. http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...&sort=3&rows=50 Good luck! --Jason
  19. My boxed Omega Race is in better condition than that. If this one sells, mine is going up next. --Jason
  20. I'll start with the misspelling of the word "complete" in the title line. --Jason
  21. I just ordered my copy. I have a PC Competitor Interface so I've been able to use Atari joysticks on my PC for a while now, but I have been waiting years for something like this to come out so I could play games like Arkanoid. Thanks again!!! --Jason
  22. Memo to any and all individuals in any way responsible for the production and distribution of this device: I LOVE YOU! --Jason
  23. I'll post a pic tonight. It worked fine on my TV, so I'm assume it's NTSC. --Jason
  24. I was sorting through my carts and a recent Ebay haul last night when I noticed that I had a text label Riddle of the Sphinx, along with the instructions. The booklet is much bigger than booklet that comes with the picture label RotS, and is printed in both English and French. This text label cart is not in the Rarity Guide. Anyone know anything about this? --Jason
  25. 1. Super Breakout 2. Eggomania (The most underrated Atari 2600 game.) 3. Kaboom! 4. Astroblast 5. Circus Atari 6. Warlords --Jason
